Has anyone heard this on the radio? My local alternative station isn’t playing it yet. I’m trying to remember how long it is before a new single gets added to a station’s playlist and gets put into regular rotation.

I don't think mine have yet(haven't listened to local stations in a while) but I checked my stations playlists on their sites and haven't seen the song played yet i wonder if they will soon

Not true - SB & bang bang were played heaps

I’ve heard it ones on the dutch radio 2 and the song is being played so now and then on an alternative online/ DAB radio station in the netherlands. Also heard radio Veronica will be playing the song next week (how often though? 🤷🏼‍♀️), since this week was their 80’s week 😅

But man i really love the song. I had to get used to bj voice and was quite surprised at first. But the energy and speed, WoW! I jump across the room when this song is playing and i can release all my built up energy. Imagine being behind the wheel driving on the highway and this song comes up. Damn, i hope there’ll be no cops around... 😎

No, havnt heard it on the radio here in Ireland .

Kinda surprised me because there have been numerous Hella Mega Tour commercials across many mainstream radio stations in recent days .

Has it charted anywhere ?

Do the charts even matter anymore realistically ?

Which stations? In Perth neither of those tracks were played on any station and I listen regularly.

Hopefully this link works .

This is a list of al the highest UK top 40 chart positions for Green Day. Again , it’s probably somewhat of an outdated metric at this stage but it will be interesting to see where the new song charts in comparison with “Bang Bang” for example.

https://www.officialcharts.com/artist/17908/green-day/

Let me know if the link doesn’t open correctly .

Thanks

1 492 911 streams on Spotify as of now. I'm probably responsible for about a thousand of those. Can't stop listening to this song, it's a jam.

It’s a definite grower . I really like it more each day and the Jimmy Kimmel performance of it sounded great .

I was someone who really didn’t like it at first listen so I’m happy to hold my hand up and say I was wrong .

I also admit I got it wrong on first listen.

Father of All is Green Days new song and it's Billie singing it. They'll play a show in Moscow on May 24 next year.

What is everyone's guess as to the single-schedule? Do we think there'll be one single/song released per month until February?

@Doggins do you know if this song getting any air play in Brisvegas?

I only listen to radio usually on Saturday and Sunday and sadly the alternative station here did not play it. When Bang Bang came out they did play that and they actually backed rev rad quite heavily throughout the rest of the single releases.

It does seem they could be running a preset list of songs on weekends though that seems to change monthly. I'm routine oriented and usually drive at the same times and I find the same set of songs always play. They may update the list and include the new song in a week or two.

We have a ton of GD billboards up in the downtown core right now and of course the commercial on TV. Heavy promotion for the tour and next to none for the single or album.

At first I thought this song is mediocre at best. The vocal filter really turned me off, since I never liked it when they do it in the studio.
But their performance at Jimmy Kimmel improved alot the quality of the song, at least production-wise
