I feel like none of this is real or serious. I feel like we've been pranked, but at the same time is this just it...this is reality?! I like the barfing unicorn on it's own. It's cute and funny. I don't mind the album art on it's own without the unicorn. It reminds me of the Longshot's art. But together they look like someone just threw something together in Paint in 5 minutes. At this rate the MOOTIK title and cover are miles better than what we've got. Props to whoever made them, honestly. But...I saw someone copy what's on the GD website (haven't had the time time check yet) and the word "glorious" is mentioned multiple times which seems suspiciousss af to me lol. And 10 songs? Wtf? I haven't even listened to the song yet...but from what I was able to skim from this thread it seems like there's a large chunk of you that are disappointed, which sucks to read 😣. I saw some ppl mentioning the Tubbies. I've always loved their sound, and I feel like the new promo pic of the band, the aesthetic of the music video from what we've seen, and Tré's new drum kit seem very them. So maybe Billie's in the mindset that, even though the album isn't out, "I'm done with this album, so I'm done with the contract." Quote

I'm not disappointed at all, but it's not the Magnus Opum thing, no Bohemian Rhapsody. Fuck, and it's gonna be the shortest album in Green Day career 😐 FOA doesn't sound like Green Day. I mean, it sounds like classic Green Day (I also think about 21st) met Fall Out Boy, literally. The chorus and 'uoaah' in it is taken out of..I don't know kind of shitty pop/rock bands (Panicland?) that pretend to be wild punk rockers and Katy Perry at the same time. It's not bad, but something is wrong with FOA. I'm happy there's no electronic and fortunately it doesn't sound like new Blink. Still guitars, bass and drums. I some way, it's good FOA is in the style of rock, but it sounds disturbingly shallow/boring. I am afraid that they ran out of ideas. ____________ The cover is meh Quote
