Anyway, I'm certainly surprised that a Green Day song is kind of reminding me of The White Stripes. I didn't really expect that. People complain when they play it safe and come out with material that sounds like it's trying too hard to match their old stuff. Then the moment they massively switch things up, BJ changes his vocal style a bit, those same fans moan that the band has gone to shit and "doesn't sound like Green Day anymore". I'm glad the guys don't pay much attention to fan demand. Going for something completely different like this is punk as fuck. I'm loving the new track. The chorus is damn catchy. People have an idea of what they want it to sound like in their heads and anything that falls short of that is unacceptable, life I suppose. Disappointing to hear it's only 26 minutes long, especially only 10 songs too. Don't know how I feel about that aspect. 1 Quote

Im not sure what to think of the new single and a 26 minute album.. it feels like they don’t care anymore what they are doing. RevRad might just be the last Green Day album with a Green Day sound.
