21st_century_gloria Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 For some weird reason, I really really am interested in what that hyper conservative site PluggedIn's review of FOAM is gonna be like. 😂 Quote

(Not calling it that because they gave the album a low rating, I just fucking hate Aftonbladet. It's pure garbage lol.) Almost all reviews I've seen in newspapers over here in Germany are very bad too. Most of them write something like "in an election year you would have expected an American Idiot 2 from Green Day", but none of them was clever enough to make the connection that we got FOAM as an "in your face" because of those high expectations 😄 4 Quote
Popular Post BilIie Joe Armstrong Posted February 8, 2020 Popular Post Posted February 8, 2020 It's actually a relief that they didn't rehash AI for the Trump presidency. That would have been so predictable. 6 Quote
Guest Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 A short 4/5 review here saying it's the best they've done since Uno. The reviewer compare FOAM to The Longhot and praise GD for not being that political this time around. Says the only problem is that 10 songs weren't enough. Quote

I read a 1,5 star review from Musikexpress which said that the best thing about the record is the short length and that we should all be thankful to them for making it that short. I guess they're just too cool so they can't like Green Day in 2020. What a shame, they miss out on a lot. 1 1 Quote

killjoywhatsername Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 If they did call it American Idiot pt 2 I would not like this album as much as I do 3 Quote

localinsomniac Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 The band name is literally a reference to smoking weed. With it being legalized (in some form) in 33 US states, this should be far from controversial. At least in North America. NOW WHEN IS MY GRINDER GETTING HERE 1 2 1 Quote
HAPPY ZOMBIE UNICORN Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 I also want a bottle opener, just to turn up the controversy level a little bit. 1 Quote

It would have actually been pro-trump if you lash out and whine about him you're making him stronger and giving him what he wants imagine meeting the president and treating him like he was a janitor at the whitehouse. He wants the fame. He loves the hate. 1 Quote
