Hopefully none. To even pretend having put effort into this would be a shame ;)

It is just for me that the quality doesn't even match the second half of the foxboro ep. it feels heartless and superficial. no great melodies, no great riffs. Just recycled somethings. i am disappointed to the bone. this is not even b-side material.

It’s really ploddy, I listened to it once and there was nothing that made me think “oh my god I need to listen to that again”, a feeling I’ve had with every single album. Gave the vinyl a spin and put it away. At least I know the show will be good, the sooner they move on with new material the better.

Edit: Oh Yeah! is actually one of the best songs on the album lmfao, that tells you everything tbh.

I'm probably the only person on earth who hasn't listened to it yet 😭

(Also, it's on 66 on Metacritic now, that's lower than most of the trilogy)

I have not (except for what's been officially released). Waiting until official release in my time zone.

This is 2012 all over again when everyone loved the trilogy and suddenly  ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶i̶r̶e̶ ̶n̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶a̶t̶t̶a̶c̶k̶e̶d̶  people came out of nowhere hating it.

Last 30 minutes for me right now. I just listened 3 singles 15 times or something, they’ve grown on me so much but still I’ll listen to it front to back  lol

What's wrong with the 2nd half of Stop Drop & Roll? That's a great album

Part of it is my week has be nothing but crazy. I haven't left my office until at least 8pm - working close to an 11-hour day - and being in meetings all damn morning or afternoon. By the time I get home, I just want to eat, shower and go to bed.

I've got a good 9 hours until midnight still, but I'll listen in the morning while I'm getting ready for work. Long day tomorrow (again).

Not true, I loved the trilogy when most hated it. At least there’s some proper hooks on the trilogy, there’s nothing memorable here, they may not have set out to dominate the world but I expect a little more from them given previous efforts. I want to be wrong but nothing grabbed me with this. I look forward to the live show but that’s about it for this album cycle.

I think no really need to question that cause the answer is pretty clear.

Another positive review from CoS

https://consequenceofsound.net/2020/02/album-review-green-day-father-of-all-motherfuckers/

“A mini rock history lesson that pays homage to the rule breakers who came before”

“Father of All… is a solid album that shows not only their mastery of sound but also genre and a nod to the greats that came before them.”

They smashed GD pretty badly in the past (See RevRad review)

I'm already loving this album even more than I liked RevRad when it first came out (I can't really comment on any other album releases because I wasn't around back then).

I'm just hoping the Hella Mega tour is as fun and as wholesome as the RevRad tour was.

May I ask why you prefer this over RevRad? That’s baffling to me.

Idk I guess with RevRad I was kinda disappointed because Bang Bang is my absolute favourite GD song, but all of the subsequent RevRad songs were pretty forgettable imo, so it was kinda underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, I do like RevRad, I just find that I rarely listen to any of the songs anymore (except for Bang Bang of course). With FOAM, I feel like I'm gonna keep enjoying most of these songs for a very long time. Quite a few of them give me FBHT vibes, and considering that I actually like FBHT better than GD, I guess it's just my type of album.:P
