I read the review but it's very short, I'd say less than 10 sentences. It also doesn't say why the songs are supposedly bad, he just calls them infantile. Doesn't look like the guy who wrote it put much effort into the review, I guess he just doesn't like them in general, there are no real arguments. So not very relevant I'd say.

Yeah, the review is something like “the trilogy is their last good record, the rest is shit, period”. A bit of extra words but no extra concepts.

I'm curious to see how people's opinions change after a month of listening to the songs in proper quality/formats 

I know we're all in fanboy and fangirl modes right now. 

I think in the Green Day line up it's low for me in rank but only cause they have so many great records. 

I do think it's a neat record im just confused right now about where this ranks against the modern GD records.

There's also just too many records. I was gonna ask everyone here to rank all GD records including Foxboro and Network but thought I would break the forum lol 

Also gotta re listen to it all over again. I think the list for me constantly changes over time.

So he's the one I have to blame for this.   I'd probably put that song as my favorite on this album, but those vocals are way too loud and out of nowhere.  Hoping for a better balance in the real version.

Totally agree on this, time can change things in a weird way. Most of RevRad faded away from my top listen list after one year or so, the opposite happened with my personal condensed version of the Trilogy, 21CB was an obsession in my teenage years but now I rarely play it front to back.
At the moment I have the feeling this record could really stick on top of my list, I am honestly much more in love with it then when I first listened to RR or any of the Trilogy records, and even if it was a long time ago I think I had a similar reaction only for 21CB (AI is my first true love, no comparison is possible). That said: a) I really have to listen to the real record to have a clearer idea; b) only time will tell the truth.

When I pre-ordered a copy last Saturday, my indie store made me chose between the standard version and an indie stores limited edition. He only knew it was a colored limited print, Warner didn’t provide any additional details. Not sure if this is it, or if it’s a different one.

I don't really have a ranking for all of the albums. I know which albums I love and which ones I love a little less. I don't know where this album will end up yet. I'm really enjoying it currently, but I'll have to listen to it more and then see what happens when the hype dies down. For example, when revrad released I loved it and listened to it all the time, now a few years there's still some songs on it that I listen to regularly but I rarely listen to the full album, and now for me that one falls in to the albums that I love a little less. For me it's in no way possible to know how my feelings for FOAM will be in the future.

Yeah nowadays there's so much magical-fuckery with binural panning/widening, that one channel can sound like a different mix haha

I would say it is almost the perfect length imo. It does leave you wanting more at the end, but I would say the 26 min runtime is fine

The mix of the vinyl rip can essentially be explained this way: The unique sounds of both left and right channels (guitars, background vocals) are louder than their shared sounds (drums, bass, main vocals), and everything has been mixed down to mono (shoved into one channel).
