idk if he’s annoyed by the mono or just the bitrate of the file but I think it’s very disrespectful to complain for the guy who leaked is FOAM

The mono leak of the album is very listenable. The quality is actually good.

I was one of those people who thought that FOAM was a troll album, but not as people who were against the theory paint us to be 😂.

The theory's name was Panicland inspired but it's supposed to be like this:  FOAM is just a short, trilogy-esque, fun album (not bad on purpose) to runaway from Warner and then very soon we would get another album, longer, better.

I mean, the theory technically still holds up hahahahah.

ok here's the thing that actually annoys me though.

A lot of people just say "wait then, we're lucky we got the leak at all !!1!" and to that, yes I am waiting. The problem is that I keep seeing comments about how either the production sounds "bad" or it sounds "good". How can you judge? How can you take your first impressions from 50% of the mix? I've already explained how we're missing stuff from the existing songs that are released, so who knows what's missing from the later songs. Whatever, I know some say they just look forward to a better version and enjoy this now.

The worst is when I see others claim that this version DOES or WILL sound better than the final version. That's just ridiculous and just impossible for me to agree with. Also the amount of misinformation spread about it drives me up the wall. No these are not mixed down channels, it's left channel only. If you think having left channel only sounds better, then either unplug your right speaker or cut off your right earbud with scissors when the album comes out and it will be a 100% identical experience.

Enough with this "new mix" and "the production is so -----"

So I've digested this album and I gotta say it's good but very different. 

I think it's a decent mix of London Calling, Sandinista and Combat Rock in a way. Different arrangements and use of different instruments and songs that stand on their own in their own era. They did that while putting a bow on it that brings it into 2020 realistically. 

I'd like to see them release singles going into the next year as I think each song has some alternative radio potential. They won't be mega hits but I think there's appeal to those willing to listen. Over the next 12 months Meet Me On The Roof, Sugar Youth, Junkies On A High and Take The Money and Crawl should be released as singles. They're all good tunes that different stations would pick up. 

We don't need #1s we just need airplay. As for Graffitia the little gem it is, they need to get this in the ending credits of a really great movie.

I think the only part of this album that can be considered to be trolling is the length of it. It’s a message to Warner, they gave them the bare minimum to fulfill a contract. The actual songs they deliver in that 26mins though are really good.

I'm thoroughly impressed. I'm trying not to be a prisoner of the moment, but I love the direction they went in. What I like about these songs is that you don't necessarily know where they are going. With the trilogy and RevRad, after you got the verse and chorus for most of the songs, nothing really surprised you. This album seems well thought out and songs take off in different directions. I can't wait to hear the HQ files because it seems the vocals are hidden a bit in the vinyl rip when you compare the singles we already received to their copies on this rip. All the songs sound unique and it is truly energetic music that evokes emotions. Sugar Youth is so ear-wormy and Graffitia is very powerful. More comments to come.
