By defacing the AI cover they were saying this is not going to sound like a typical GD album 14 Quote

It's just a badly made album cover that makes people want to vomit Quote

This is not directed at you, I’m just quoting because, there is an emotional connection to art. People can dislike art. The majority of the dislike comments here are beyond disrespectful to the artist. And don’t give me that “Billie can take it” line. He’s a creative, an artist, who puts his heart on his sleeve everytime he creates something. There’s an emotional connection to everything he’s done. Yes, dislike it or like it, but do so respectfully. The amount of keyboard bullying going on because people disagree is like a room full 2-yr olds who each had their toy taken away. 5 2 Quote

Releasing this album as a fuck you to the label and maybe also to the critics and us over-critical fans would be the most punk thing they’ve ever done. And if we get some great songs out of it, even better. I have a feeling that the Green Day year 2020 will offer some more surprises for us. But up until then, I’m looking forward to the FOAM release, troll or not 😄 4 1 Quote

HAPPY ZOMBIE UNICORN Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 Just listened to the three songs with the Razor Baby EP from the Longshot on queue right after, and I loved it 😍 Even tho they do not naturally belong to each other, I love to have Fever Blister right after Oh Yeah!, and I think the rest of the EP fits the vibe I get from the three GD songs I think this will help me to get through the month and wait for February 7 😄 2 1 Quote

I had no idea Tchad Blake was the mixer for this record, and so many insights on how the production and recording process worked. So, so cool. And that isolated bass track made me high. Love it. I’m looking at this as an outsider to the music industry, but from what Butch explained about the overall process and how the collaboration between each of the production components worked, I really respect and appreciate his method of work and philosophy. It sounds like it has been a genuine and fun process, and it confirms how the artistic direction was chosen and chased by the band. I am even more hyped for the record now The interview with Butch starts at 4:09:50. 8 Quote
