I took that to mean that is how the song sounds rather than lyrics.  Maybe it's both.  Maybe that is Green Day firing on all their cockiest cylinders.

A band like Green Day choosing Butch Vig is a good sense choice, but Walker is weird.

Up until a few days ago when oh yeah came out I felt the same about butch. Still not a fan of the production, but I thought he did every aspect of it, which he didn’t. He was the engineer and mixed it, while someone else mastered it. This is a glaring issue IF the mixer and master producer don’t work together to make sure frequencies and stuff don’t cut out. Idk how much of it was him, the other guy, or both, but I now know I don’t fully blame butch. I do think the production on OH YEAH! Was very good for the song. As to why they chose him, I think it was his style, and that’s what they wanted.

Just watched that 10 minute Panicland video on how they done “Magnum Opus” and it’s genius. I’m glad I was right and they all had you on strings in the beginning. Funny how three teenagers can imitate a better sound than actual Green Day can 😂 And don’t tell me you disagree because you were all loving the sound of the “leaks” when you first heard it. Serious note, hope they release some of their own stuff with a little less vocal imitation of course. Can’t be any worse than new Green Day that’s for sure!

Young Blood sucks so bad especially compared to the rest of Rev Rad and also compared to what we’ve heard from FOAF so far.

Every song from FOAM so far is at least interesting and gives us something to think about.

The only tracks I skip on RevRad are Outlaws and Ordinary World 🤮🤮 Youngblood was great live, I enjoyed it every timeI saw it. 
 

FOAM tracks being interesting? LMAO. You have heard the latest single, right? Diabolical. At least with sub par GD songs you can imagine being somewhat well received live. None of the three songs capture any of that for me. Genuinely using the songs as beer or toilet breaks during the show 😂

I think FOAM gave us some of the greatest GD performances of the last few years. That song live is a total banger, they guys clearly enjoy playing it, and many people who didn’t really enjoy the single appreciated the live executions. Not saying that you have to, but I think the song really does its best live. 
 I am curious to see how Oh Yeah! will be arranged live, it has a lot of potential as well IMHO

Try listening to all three songs at insane volume while dancing around.  It's a serious calory burner and you will then love all the songs.

I think these songs from FOAM will be really fun to watch live. Young Blood will always be my washroom break.

From a person living with a kidney disease I request lots of pee songs!

Realistically though I've seen GD so many times so the rule is if I've seen the song atleast twice live it qualifies as a pee song. 

There are some exemptions. BOBD is my favourite pee song cause I can sync up the ah-ah ah-ah while I'm voiding.

if it does it won’t be a reviewer leak they don’t have access to download the music files they’re generally allowed to stream the albums 2-3 times before their password expires and it’s been a long while since I’ve had access to Warner’s streaming site but I know Universal has it set up to where it can detect if a reviewer is trying to rip the streams thru any programs I’d assume Warner has something like that set up as well

A little late but Youngblood was great live.  Billie has often said he writes a lot with live performances in mind and I think it’s clearly one of those songs.

sounds like some of you would benefit from pelvic floor excercises if you need to pee so much 😆

I read that Youngblood was originally written for Cigarettes & Valentines, so would fit if Billie was inspired by Skater Boy in 2002 🤔

Yeah and some songs in Avril's discography have noticeable similarities with GD's sound. I love listening to those ones because of that.

It would be very very easy to sidestep this. One of the first things certain programs designed to rip sound often have built into them is tools to remain undetected.
