Why are we working retroactively here? If I'm told to move on and this is a fair and equal forum shouldn't we all be moving forward including mods? Might have been your last post but was not the post you were warned for that had been made since the general warning in the thread. We can't be on 24/7 so if it is within a couple hours can you make a post that continues the off topic discussion, the user is receiving a warning point. The point does nothing unless the user choses to continue after that. If you have any further issues with it, send a PM. This thread is not the place to complain about a warning point. 1 Quote

Dividing time is hard!!!! Seeing the list, it makes sense. None of the songs are insanely short (Generational Divide anyone?) and there are a handful of 3+ minute songs. I wonder how long the Bull album will be. I also wonder about Magnum Opus and Songs for Assholes. SFA will probably be 37 minutes and MOOTIK will be shorter than some expect....around 54 minutes. Bull album though....50 even is my guess. Green Day 13! 14! 15! 16! Quote

I think SFA is just the instagram page for the recording sessions during this era. they have close friends and family on it probably for feedback on what they were working on. I don't think it's another album or anything like that. PS: they tell me to pm to sort out this whole warning thing and the pm thread is just even more combative than the thread just so everyone is aware. 1 Quote

Green Day 13! 14! 15! 16! Is there any actual evidence there’s another album or is it just clutching at straws? I get the feeling that they’re just trying to have fun with music now and they’re not fussed about it being the best they can possibly make it. I think it’s more an excuse to play live than specifically “we’ve got 10 amazing songs people have to hear”. 2 Quote

DookieLukie Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 The "Teenager" song being the longest is interesting to me. I wonder if it's more reflective and slower-paced, especially since it comes in the middle of the record. 2 Quote

Defiantly clutching at straws. 2 hours ago, Sheenius said: PS: they tell me to pm to sort out this whole warning thing and the pm thread is just even more combative than the thread just so everyone is aware. 🤔 would a been rather off topic, we both would have had to have been given warning points. As for combative meh, if I am combative because the team as a whole does not agree with you and gave you a number of reasons for the warning point that you (ignored? disagree with? )... well then I am combative. We will have to agree to disagree on the matter. but moving on. Quote

It could be the continuation of "Too Dumb to Die", which for me is connected to "Wake Me up When..." The Andrew Anthology songs. 1 Quote

That Dude Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 "Oh Yeah" is coming in three days, right? Very excited and interested to know what it sounds like. Hope it's extremely different than the other two songs, but all you guys still hate it. Billie and I want you to feel bad. Really. Really. Bad. To the bone. B-b-b-bad. Quote

GDFan2019 Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 So about the 2 songs, Art of the Deal With The Devil/Take The Money and Crawl and Bulletproof Backpack/Oh Yeah, are they completely different songs or were the titles just changed? 1 Quote

As for Art of The Deal... Take The Money and Crawl seems to fall into a similar theme. Maybe those are lyrics in it and they thought it would be more fitting. Also Art of the Deal is Trumps book so they may not want to be associated with him or shed light about him since this isn't a Donald Trump record. 1 Quote
Clockwise Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 I'm happy they changed those titles, if that's really what they did. 1 Quote

If it was released a decade ago I'd like the title more. No denying that "Oh Yeah!" is a generic title though. 1 Quote
