The fact that FRA puts a huge smile on my face just goes to show that they failed in their mission to make people feel bad

Yeah the only people who feel bad when listening to the songs are everyone who don't like the songs

When you look at it that way it kinda sounds like GD is saying that they want everyone to hate their stuff... Lol that's a weird marketing angle if I ever saw one

where's @GDFan2019 on this new conspiracy?

I really think they want Warner to hate these songs, not us! I mean, who else could SongsForAssholes be referring to?

I may not ever follow your thinking, but I admire your constant confidence in what you're saying.

I think the general thinking is that if the album was meant to yeehaw out of their contract and the SFA account was in reference to warner it could basically be green day throwing the album on their desk like "there you go bitch we're done now"

Actual image of GDC picking apart anything Matt says even when it's definitely meant to be a funny

I'm predicting a metacritic score of 75 on Metacritic and an audience score of like 7 or so.

Yet ironically Green Day is back in the mainstream with their appearences, and the NFL deal. They couldn’t have written it with the intention of being bad..

At this point I don't even care about the intention. I just think it's bad.

You’re saying this about an album from which we’ve heard 2 songs, one of which they’re not promoting as a single?

But Billie has actually said they are negotiating with Warner

I'm saying it about the two songs.

I can't say it about the album because I haven't heard it. But I'm looking forward to the next single, maybe it'll be a pleasant surprise.

Even the most static Green Day albums have varied sounds, and I imagine this one will too.   It's possible that even if you HATE those two songs you might like the rest.

It's not that far away!

ONE MONTH.   NINETEEN DAYS!!!!!!

Hey now, I don't hate them! I even do enjoy listening to them. I just think it's subpar compared to Billie's previous work. I came to expect more and hence I'm disappointed. It's not bad per say, sorry for my wording. It's just generic and bad when it's under Green fucking Day.

If I remember correctly, he didn’t exactly say they were negotiating. It was more like, we would love to get out from under a label but we’ll see what they offer us before we decide.
