FOAMF Follow Up Album Anticipation Thread was closed before I could even join in the excitement!!!!!   Album 14, wow.  

But I understand why it was closed.  I guess the rule should be that kind of thread should either be once an album is confirmed OR after the current project is released.   The Day after FOAM drops, THEN we can create that post and go freaking bonkers......right?  

While we're all listening to FOAM and either loving it or hating it, THEN we think about where Green Day go from there.   What could Album possibly sound like?????? 

The ideas are just song babies in Billie Joes brain right now.  Maybe not even that far along yet.   They are a sparkle in the sparkle in his eye.

Maybe. But if they recorded songs under contact with Warner, wouldn't Warner have rights to them? They could have hid the tracks, but wouldn't that be in breach of their contract?

Just watch X-Mas Time of the Year be the final song on the album. It's been re-uploaded with a song transition at the beginning. I have no doubt in my mind that this was always a troll album, I just wish it was taken a tad more seriously by the band.

That’s interesting to explore, also because we know as a fact that they have 7 extra songs not included in FOAMF. I have no idea how this works tho. If they registered demos of songs that did not end up in the new record, do these actually count as master tapes owned by Warner? I imagine that really depends on their contract details, maybe only the master of songs that end up being actually released under the Warner contract belongs to Warner. Not sure if this makes any sense 😄

I still don’t buy the troll album “conspiracy” at all tho. My best guess is that they had a bunch of songs belonging to each other, which ended up being FOAMF, and others that were either considered as b-sides, or that did not fit the record’s style/approach. Only time will tell us I guess

Wait......what if Father of All is Panicland too?  

What if this has been going on for a while?  Not sure how old the Panic guys are, but this could be serious.....

Sometime after American Idiot, they started working on their Green Day impression.  Remember that long gap before Breakdown?   That's because Green Day actually broke up and Panicland made a rock opera to cash in (and pay tribute of course) on their favorite band.  Then, with all the songs they practiced on they dumped them all onto the public in the form of the trilogy.  Putting the faces of Green Day further made us think this sounds like the same person that sung on Dookie-Idiot and we were all hooked on this new voice, no matter what we though of the trilogy.  

and now, they are just having some fun with the promotion of this new FOAM album and trying to confuse everybody, but they know that nobody can accept that Green Day have been faked this whole time, and this will all blow over.   

By the time album 14, 15, 16 and 17 roll out, even GDA will have moved on, thinking about that weird time we all had conspiracies.    

But just because you're paranoia doesn't mean the world isn't out to get you.

YES!!! I refuse to believe they would go back into the studio and then cut the album down to just 10 songs anyway!!! There HAS to be more to this that we don’t know about!!!!
