Hella Mega Tour with Weezer, Fall Out Boy

Something's not right about tonight's gig. How come Hella Mega haven't uploaded any Insta stories yet? No hidden bootleg t-shirt, no attempt to drum up fun and excitement. Is something else happening other than the FOB news?

Unbelievable that they're not even making The Interrupters and Weezer go on later so there's not a one hour wait between bands. I guarantee it's just to keep fans in the venue longer to keep them buying overpriced concessions. There's a club in my city that regularly puts national touring acts on at like 12-1am just to keep everyone who showed up at 8-9pm because that's when they assumed the headliner would go on trapped inside buying $7 beers while they wait.

They're probably not doing this just to avoid being crucified by angry fans in the comments. Not that I'd blame people for being pissed but that's probably it.

The reddit tour thread updated Green Day's time from 9-10:30 to 9-10:40. It claims it comes from the box office. Maybe they will play longer?

I feel bad for everyone who was looking forward to this tour after the awful 18 months we've just had and now they have to go through this shit

Like imagine buying a ticket for this thing in 2019/2020, it being postponed til 2021 and then right when it's supposed to happen, the band you want to see has to cancel and then you have to ask for a refund or go see bands that you're not that excited to see.

I imagined it and that seems pretty awesome, actually.   If I had a rock band, and had to pick ONE cover tune to play forever......probably The Saints are Coming.   I can almost make that sound decent on guitar, and it's a rocking tune.   

I was going to say they haven't been playing it THAT long, but you are right.  It's one of Green Day's most played songs.  The only songs with more plays are Hitchin a Ride, She, Basketcase and Longview.    WOW.  

Of all the amaze-balls covers Green Day do, they should show them off.    The Who, Cheap Trick, Dylan, the list is insanely long.   

I don't know why I'm raging against Knowledge today.   It's not terrible.   The worst part of a Green Day show other than having to pee?   Yeah, but not terrible.

Off tonic question perhaps and I apologize if so. But in every arena Photo I see of "the floor" ....there are chairs?? 

What is that about?

I almost Always have floor tickets and these chairs seem like an absolute death trap. Seriously, wtf?

Floor seats on the field are located behind the general admission pit. That’s not unusual for US stadium and arena shows

At the first date of the tour, I picked up the Green Day baseball shirt - it has Green Day repeated in red. I wore it today and I got wet and the ink bled some. I got it under the sink to spot treat the area and more of it got wet. I left it to dry and when I came back, it bled even more! I’m out of town right now but when I get back home I’m going to try it in the washing machine but if it just bleeds more, I’m super disappointed. The shirt was at least $40. 
 

I take it there is nowhere to email to ask for a replacement? Y’all think the Green Day store could do anything? (I’ll add a pic one I wash it tomorrow)
