I think we are all just beyond frustrated at this point. Most people did everything right and had lives and livelihoods shattered to try to stop this pandemic, and now they are being told, "Sorry, you still can't try to rebuild your life because now you have to protect Joe Fuckface down the street who won't get a vaccine. And oh by the way, Joe Fuckface is now spreading around mutant strains so he'll probably get you sick now anyway even though you are vaccinated."

It's the adult version of the teacher punishing the whole class for one student doing something bad.

I just got an email from Ticketmaster that you can request a refund for Citifield since FOB is not performing

Ok now do a partial refund for those of us still going but only getting 2/3 of the product.

I friend who is on the line just told me they announced on the speakers of the stadium that the shows will not be altered, and anyone wanting a refund must not get inside

“The shows will not be altered” wtf does that mean

They really messed this up. Announcing a refund like that so last minute is wild to me. I’m glad they are giving it out but way to wait til the last possible moment.

Probably that the bands will not play longer to fill FOB stage time

Lots of people selling tickets on twitter although in a crowd of 30000 it may not that many

Me an hour ago: hehe FOB cancelled

Me now: realizing I have a ticket to see Green Day at a festival so the chance I get a refund if they cancel last minute due to covid is zero :o :o:o

On a side note, it is time for Green Day to end the shtick of bringing fans up on stage. I know crowds love it but right now it is not worth it.

Honestly yeah, it’s all fun and games and $200 some of us are never going to see again, until someone actually gets sick.

Green Day is still the main draw, but reducing the product for the same price is robbery. We shouldn't have to compensate for their problems. Also waiting an hour between sets is extremely dumb. Green Day MUST see that.

If the other bands are playing longer to make up for FOB's absence, then I think it's fine. Otherwise, it's not

Maybe not. They used to in the past but it doesn't seem like it much now.

I just feel so bad for the fans. I was upset about missing 2 songs. Now they’re missing the whole set. Wow. :(

Surely they must, because it's embarrassing beyond words for them, but what can they do? They're tied to a management company that currently controls almost every aspect of the band. If they spoke out about how farcical the whole tour is, then what would happen to them? Perhaps a big lawsuit.

I know it doesn’t work this way, but I kind of feel bad for trashing FOB/this tour so much on here because now I feel  for ppl who must be incredibly disappointed, all the more so that FOB fans paid a lot to see an already pretty short set and now it got scrapped completely.

They're Green Day. They can't talk to the tour managers and edit things? Guess they're too busy selling coffee...

Are you all serious? They're compensating for FOB not performing by increasing wait times between sets? I'd much rather just go home (or to a bar) early! That is really frustrating.

For those who are interested, we haven't received any information yet about refunds for Fenway. (not that I want one)

Well, they chose to sign a contract with this company and I can’t imagine they’d give up the level of control they had under their previous deal...

I may be in the minority here (pun not really intended)  but I feel like Knowledge should have went out with King for a Day.

It's not a great song, and there plenty of better old-punk stuff they could play to get the kids into the old stuff.

A good ole' fashion Crimpshrine cover should do the trick.

Billie, make this happen.   Thanks.

Crimpshrine  rule!

Imagine playing a song you didn't even write at every show for 30 years. Honestly I'm not sure why I'm even going to this tour but I feel compelled to shell my money at them.
