Yup. I’m still excited to see Green Day but the whole vibe of this tour is just…off, clearly because of Covid and how sterilized everything has to be. And now this. I’m sure they all wanted this tour to happen because we’ve been cooped up for so long, but i’d rather wait than deal with this mess.

The only downside to postponement (imo) is that weezer will likely cut their material from this year since they'll have 4 albums out next year.

This is actually very worrying and let’s just say if this was GREEN DAY (not fallout boy) and one of us was going surely just to see them, I would be completely heartbroken, now I’m over here just hoping nothing happens like this during my show, why couldn’t they just postpone again anyway and since fallout boy also makes “hella mega”?

This was bound to happen sooner or later, considering they’re not even asking for a proof of vaccination or a test from people attending these shows (or you know... masks). Some crew members (mainly security) can’t avoid close contact with all those people.

I didn’t want this tour to happen but was hoping for the best and now I definitely wish they would cancel the tour. This is not good and not fair either.

I mean initially Green Day was starting their set at 9:20, so if it’s any longer then it won’t be by that much. If this is true than that’s another slap in the face that we’d be losing a band and their answer would be making us sit around longer waiting for the next one to come on.

I've said this multiple times already (both here and on reddit) but vaccinations should be a requirement for these shows. Refunds should be made available to those who wanted to see Fall Out Boy at those shows.

Vaccine requirements should be prioritised over masks because 1) Vaccines are more effective 2) It's harder to enforce mask rules. Like, what if a bunch of people just take off their masks during the show? Will the show have to be stopped so they're made to put it back on. I think masks should be encouraged but I don't think you can exactly force everyone to wear a mask at all times

At this point it wouldn’t surprise me... and to keep my brand, I have to say that replacing FOB with sitting there for an hour in silence still isn’t a bad trade as far as I’m concerned

Yeah, for all of their precautions I was surprised that her and Mike got to see each other in NY. I know she kept posting about missing him but it was her choice not to get vaxxed (not to mention post some real cringe misinformation)

Wow, this is really sad. I hope the person feels better soon. Hopefully the vaccine will keep this from being too bad. I do agree that this really sucks for people who bought tickets specifically to see that band and now they can't. People who ant refunds should get them.

There really better be refunds. I don't care for FOB, but if I was going for them only I'd be pissed. Hoping Green Day just plays longer but it seems they have no passion for this tour with their canned setlist.
