Whatever happened to dr.kneeknocker or whatever the hell his account was, have they posted anymore leaks? 

I'm hoping we get a new single tomorrow too and maybe a performance on jimmy Kimmel with his lineup of mystery musical guests for the next three nights starting on 9/10.

Yeah, I'm already seeing it coming. All signs are there:

-"Sweet Billie" in the hellamegatour video

-the Madonna Inn thing 

-the glitter

-the FOB and Weezer t-shirt

-the planned shared tour

-Crush Management 

All things are hinting at a (potentially shit) corporate pop rock album. 

 

Nothing proves the opposite, except the "leaks", which 

-have the wrong font (GFB era) 

-conveniently happen to be in the same studio PanicLand used and no other reasonable studio for Green Day fits the bill

-have Billie's voice edited in, something they would never do if not fake

-conveniently stopped posting once they were exposed

 

This all breaks my heart. As explained in depth on page 406, I WANT those leaks to be true. But they won't. Pop Green Day is coming your way, everyone. Let's just expect the worst, but hope for the best, that's a strategy that always works!

Whatever happens, I'm somewhat still looking forward to the Jimmy Kimmel appearance, if real. Probably gonna be fun.

I wonder if anything new has appeared in the code for greenday.com now that we know some sort of announcement is coming tomorrow. Anybody checked in the last couple days? I don't understand how any of that works soo

I checked a couple of hours ago. I did not notice anything new.

But we still didn‘t find any explenations on why you clearly hear Billie singing and the (even for such a video) great mastering. That was no amateur making these songs.

Agreed, that also still puzzles me. But as @Matt. said, that could only mean two things: 1. It's an admittedly great hoax, the likes of which we might not have seen thus far. 2. Green Day are somehow "in on it".

Both are incredibly unlikely things, but if one of either has to be true, as is the case here, then option 1 is the more likely possibility. And the more I think about it, the more I see myself accepting it.

Sure, could be, but mastering that quality means that it‘s not quite cheap. And who should pay just for a hoax that doesn‘t generate income? 🤔

I still think it's more likely that the band is involved in all of this, somehow. But I don't know. We'll probably know more tomorrow. Or not. Who knows.
