When I saw Weezer, Rivers rode the S.S. Weezer around the arena loor and sang Perfect Situation. He's a total dad on-stage, but they are so much fun live. You don't have to be demanding heyyy-oooos to be lively.

The Fall Out Boy pairing makes me nauseous and I couldn't be less excited about that.

i do like those crossover shirts with mismatched band names and images. im interested to see the next variation. and if they use those on the tour, thats kinda funny.

I like Weezer. I liked Fall Out Boy in high school(?). But I don’t think I’m looking forward to them touring together if that’s the case. It’ll just be that much harder to get pit tickets and I’m assuming FOB has some wackjob fans. A barrier spot for these shows sounds like a nightmare.

it would be interesting being in a crowd of mixed fanbases instead of one that's purely Green Day. Weezer and Green Day are my top 2 favorite bands so that's like awesome. Can't say I really care too much for Fall Out Boy but hey it's a live show. It's probably going to still be fun.

I’m not buying a ticket to the tour unless Weezer plays “Can’t Stop Partying” live.

If Green Day doesn’t come out with a new epic song, the least Weezer could do is play their “Magnum Opus”.

Could just be a tour announcement on Tuesday or maybe a single announcement or both.

Maybe it'll be a single release? Maybe they'll just release the whole fucking album. We don't know for sure right now we just know we are getting Green Day news Tuesday

The idea of this tour sucks, imo. 

I just feel a bit comfortable because I think it'll be a short tour in America and it won't touch Europe. I really hope so, because tickets will be expensive and the crowd will be mixed. I can see the nightmare.

Reading a rumours about Green Day tour.... But with Weezer and FOB:

Shorter Green Day show, more expensive tickets and fighting for the first row with fans who could don't care about GD at all... 

It sounds like my worst nightmare.

So that's only two dates though? That's not all that bad right? They can totally have their own tour around/after that. Maybe we will get music announced on Tuesday

Neither stadium are called that... Olympic Stadium is called the London Stadium, and in Huddersfield its the John Smiths. Their websites don't mention anything so easy enough to throw random dates around...

It's the first time I wish the tour would miss Eastern Europe

Huddersfield?! It's not even that big a football ground. There's a number of bigger grounds nearby (e.g. the Etihad, Manchester City) that would have been more believable rumours than Huddersfield! GD played at Wembley and the Emirates in front of 60,000.

It just feels weird that they’re supposedly playing the enormous megadome that is the London Stadium, then the next night they’re upping sticks for the frankly smaller John Smiths Stadium Huddersfield.

I mean, fair play if it’s true. Maybe this means they’re open to play other similar-sized places like Sunderland (just an example, and a personal fantasy of mine) in the future.
