i watched/listened to the panicland stuff for as long as i could stomach, which wasnt long. its some of the most cringe, god awful drek ive ever heard. ...that said, im sure theyll be millionaires in no time.

im still calling bullshit and leaning towards authenticity. one tinfoil hat comes in and drops a single seed of doubt and it spreads. i aint buying it.

but this tour thing, with a washed up karaoke band thats been beating a horse who died in 2002 and some hot topic hasbeens who are probably still in debt to their cosmetics suppliers....this makes me dread hearing that become a reality. much less the ticket price for such an abomination. 'hella mega'? hella awful...for me anyhow. hopefully it'll be a rather short run tour and we still get the traditional outing where GD does their thing. the silver lining is, this concert will be the catalyst that changes some kids' lives.

This here straight up sounds like something someone who's still salty about "American Idiot" and the band supposedly "selling out" would say about Green Day.

Anyway, I wouldn't be opposed to a tour with just Weezer, because they have plenty of material I like.  First four albums, EWBAITE, White - plenty of fun stuff on those, imo.  Their sets tend to be pretty heavy on Blue, which definitely ain't a bad thing.  Fall Out Boy, though... not so sure about that, mainly because I only really like their first couple albums and a few random songs off IOH and Folie.  There's also the bad Warped experience I mentioned like...60 pages back now I think, lol.  However, other people said they're better live now, so there's that.

Green day are very protective about their time on stage and their live shows in general. They wouldn't do this tour if they were told they can't play longer shows. I wouldn't worry about that.

But they aren’t festival shows that start in the afternoon, how long could each band conceivably play for if you start after 7:00 and end by 11:00? 

I wonder if they welcome the chance to do shorter shows because it’s getting physically difficult for them or something. They talked a bit last tour about how hard it is.

This is all just a mess. But honestly, Vorfreude ist die beste Freude (german for: anticipation is the best kind of joy/excitement). So if these guys really fked with us in that way for no good reason, they deserve almost anything coming their way right now. Seriously, I am pissed!

I don’t remember them saying it was hard to perform their shows. They said they’re high octane on Howard stern.

I’d say yes, in principle. But my cynical self is saying the album’s gonna be shit if the leaks are fake, so in that case I care more about the live shows...

Been stalking this news since the first thread. I think I’d be on board with some FOB/Green Day/Weezer shows because any Green Day Live is better than none at all and because I used to want to see FOB live but then MANIA came out and I lost all excitement for them...this would at least give me an excuse. Weezer seems solid even though I haven’t listened to their newer stuff. I figure a tour like this they would mainly play the hits anyways. 

Got a good feeling about the 10th and I hope something actually happens

Yeah, I mean the side of me believing this is all one massive horrible hoax, because PanicLand were actually deplorable enough to do this, thinks the album is therefore gonna be shit, because —> Butch Walker —-> Pop Rock Shit, purely for commercial gain (again, a cynical interpretation I admit).
