In today‘s Video you see the MOOIK Cover and hear the song from the video. Warner and Green Day would never allow that the community gets so hyped over a record that‘s not by Green Day but everybody thinks it‘s by Green Day.

Belive me or not, his words: 'If you wanna come up and do it' are exactly the same from their video of playing in front of Billie. I also remember the guy from Panicland asked if The Last Time is an encore song. Billie answered: we play it off and on. I could repeat every word

I checked them, and it's not a coincidence this is the same studio

So considering the album artwork is now 99% confirmed, why is it already pressed and ready to go? This leads me to think we’ll have a release sooner than February. Anyone think Green Day could do a surprise drop with little to no announcement?

Okay. This all seems like a long way to go to perpetuate a hoax. Plus, dadbod just linked the video you're talking about, and I don't hear Billie use the phrase in question. Maybe I'm missing something.

The band also recorded the meeting from different angle and uploaded on their instagram. The video is no longer there

I do remember that band posting a video from their perspective, I don’t remember if there was talking.

Surprise drops don't usually launch physically until a bit later anyway.  Weezer released Teal Album this year in January but CD and vinyl weren't released until March. Worth noting that was a Crush release

By this time If the videos were fake I believe someone who represents Green Day would have told Matt or someone in GDC to let us know. Probably the account would be deleted. That's why I believe it's real.

What about when Billie(or someone who sounds like him) talked about the melodies in one of the videos? or what sounds like tre talking in one too. Or the person who asks “how’s Billie” in another video

Even if all that is true, how do you disprove what is almost undeniably a Green Day song, and the cover art that we've seen just a couple days ago? The music in the second and fourth clips on the dr.robertdoback account is the same. I hear Billie's voice in the ahh-ahhs in the most recent post.

This is way too far-fetched. There is no way that a nothing little band like that would have the motivation or ability to create this elaborate of a hoax. What purpose would it serve?  And Billie has now been tagged in the comments of the last one so if GD weren’t aware of it before they sure are now. And the chances of them not being aware and not removing it by now are virtually nil.

So what you are saying is that: someone went to that studio, had a recording session and composed a fake Green Day song, created a fake artwork, printed it and placed in the studio while recording the fake song, both in a vinyl and cd version. Sounds credible.

it may go down in the next moments. And according to  Matt,   who knew first about GD recording an album, it is to be doubted. Hopefully not. Only time will tell, and we better not overreact in favor or against it.

1: if this unknown band is working on this fake, it'd be a perfect way to be hated from a lot of people. So, really nosense.
2: in the coloured video, we saw the artwork on the table and it perfectly matches with the one in the last leak. Did they take the effort to print a fake copy while we were recording their work, just to create this fake? If yes, they need to call a shrink soon 😜

3: in the last leak you can quiet perfectly hear BJ's guitar, but, first and above all, you can hear his voice singing the first part with the choir and the second part (maybe?!) alone (the woooah aaaaaahhhhhh)

I know we are just speculating and nothing's official, but why do we have to force things even when they really look real? 🤷‍♂️

I have to leave for work in an hour and now I don’t want to go 😭😭😭 This is too much to handle, the art, the music everything 💚💚💚

And the first thing I thought of when I saw that gloved hand was Fink. Didn’t he wear the same gloves in The Network to hide his tattoos? Taking a video holding the album cover is a very Billie thing to do (remember the Woodstock one?)

The music sounds so big is scares me a bit. I hope it’s still catchy and not overblown but I’m excited to hear it.

I'm also wondering why they don't inform us it's fake. If Billie looks up  #foam he also must see a lot of those fake album covers and videos.

As has been said several times in here, a healthy dose of skepticism is never a bad thing. But I believe what we're seeing and hearing in these specific leaks is the real McCoy.

It would be one thing to create a photoshopped image, but quite another to have one printed on a glossy 12” LP cover and show that too.

I remember that and I went looking and found the video. You are correct. In the first video from 5 days ago on the leak account, you can hear him say " you got the harmonies" (not an exavt quote, but it's exactly what he said in Panic Lands video. I don't know if the ig link will work, because I'm pretty sure it's a private account
