I have a feeling we’ll be getting more posts on the dr.robertdoback page today and tomorrow. It feels very purposeful now. And someone mentioned the shitshow that would ensue if this is fake. I was in Italy last week and couldn’t believe how many Green Day songs I heard in bars/restaurants .

I'v tried to catch up and read everything in here, but that's basically impossible.  I did see the tour with Weezer mentioned and can confirm that it is true.  My friend works for NBC and they are doing a partnership with Live Nation to promote the tour and are having a contest to win tickets starting next week, I believe either Monday or Tuesday so that could line up with an album announcement and possible single.  She sent me the calendar reminder she received form work so I 100% believe it to be true.  The show with Weezer is happening in a baseball stadium in our city so it will not be until next summer most likely.

I hope not. I think that would come off a bit contrived; like they're trying to cash in on nostalgia. I think the band would want to do something fresh too

That was 93.3 WMMR Radio if I'm not wrong, I still receiving mails (newsletter) from them because when it was for Bang Bang you needed to sign up for listening to the live stream, then maybe there were another radio too.

Ugh. I don't care about Weezer but baseball stadium means it's the USA so it's far enough from me. What was the other band they were supposed to play with? I just know we all collectively decided it must be fake because it was pretty shit

The redditor who posted the alleged lyrics says the tracklist from a few pages ago was bullshit. Although at the same time, he or she seems to believe the lead single will in fact be track 3.

Jesus Christ that's horrible  However I doubt they'd do a co-headline show, they're too big to need to do that.

My friend told me there was a third band, but couldn't remember/didn't know who they were.  So I'm hoping that means it isn't Fall Out Boy since I know she's heard of them

Aaaaaah hope it isn't FOB then but I'm afraid this is too similar to the FOB/Weezer story to be something else. Who even has the patience to wait through two not very interesting opening bands. I'm officially giving up my front spot lol

If it’s in a baseball stadium it’ll be either in late winter/early spring or the fall. No way a baseball team would let a concert happen during the season and ruin the grass

Fenway Park in Boston has several bands play during the summer while the team is on road trips. And the Wrigley Field show was in August 2017.

Yea teams will even have post game concerts during the year if the team is about to go on a road trip.  Billy Joel had a show here in May while the team was on a trip

Btw, @Dirnt Dirnt Dirnt is it meant to be coheadline or a support band? The latter isn't really a big deal I guess, but I'm still in a full boo mode because the RevRad tour spoiled me with good support bands

Recently Rivers Cuomo was asked who his favourite bands are, and he said “Green Day and Fall Out Boy” very slyly. Take that as you will. All three bands are on Crush, so it makes sense 

I love Green Day and Weezer, but imagine how short the sets would be if they toured with fucking Fall Out Boy 🙄
