I think there’s a good chance it might actually be Father of All Motherfuckers. Someone in this Reddit thread pointed out that Lana Del Ray’s latest album is called Norman Fucking Rockwell but officially listed as NFR.

I'm really curious to know if we are going to have the new single before the end of september, this is the only thing missing now.

I really hope so, vaporwave is pretty cool, and it would really bring a fresh aesthetic (and potentially sound) to the whole thing  It's also a "movement" reinterpreting 80's and 90's sounds/imagery, and it's considered a proto/post-punk subculture, and this makes it somehow relatable to GD for me. I would not jump to conclusions yet, but nonetheless it is very fascinating

I just took that as a reference for the use of Greek imagery in vaporwave, that's one of the most famous vaporwave records, nothing related to GD.

So I can’t help but feel the theory that the leaked album artwork we discovered was meant for the earlier “Gods Favorite Band” release is wrong. The title printed on the artwork, “Magnum Opus of the Inglorious Kind” implies ‘a’ work, not a combination of works. So I think the title itself speaks to this being not only the likely artwork, but also the likely title of the new album. Put simply, I don’t think the term “magnum opus” fits a greatest hits release, it implies the greatest single release.

The thing that makes me skeptical about the album cover is that around 2 days before it came out I joked to Matt on here that we won’t be able to guess #FOAM because it’s in Latin. Then the album cover showed up after we’d found out foam with “Magnus Opus” on it, seems quite coincidental.

Magnum Opus of The Inglorious Kind may/may not be our album name. 

Green Day’s under new management. I imagine we’re going to get something closer to a Weezer or FOB album release style.

Yeah, it just seems way to sophisticated to be faked. There’s a great bit of detail in the cover art. Plus, I think you can see the album cover in the video clips posted on Instagram.

i think matt told us that Magnum Opus of The Inglorious Kind  is  not the album name

and i dont know about the "leaked" album cover, yes you can see it in those clips, but what if they just want to troll us? or maybe its just a placeholder/not the final album cover?

Just coz Matt said it's not the album title, doesn't mean that it's definitely not the album title. They could be fucking with Matt. Nobody knows at this point.

Yeah, I’d have to see where he explicitly said that. But even then, I’ve seen Matt be taken by surprise before. I just think the simplest answer is usually the right one.

They can have changed the name for the album in that time
