"Spread this cryptic thing and let people speculate" is an incredibly common means of generating hype, the band did it themselves last time with #revrad.

Given what Matt said, I think FOAM is the album title, not single title.

I was skeptical too but although I joke I do trust Matt. Plus if he's wrong he's going to be run out of GDC and perhaps society. I doubt he'd take that risk for some rep.

It doesn't suck to be kept in the dark when you don't know you're being kept in the dark. It only sucks when someone dangles that tasty unattainable secret in front of your watering mouth. I get that hype is good for business and it's unavoidable when I want to be involved in the fandom, so I accept that but I'd prefer not knowing at all and then being surprised.

According to @Matt., it’s an acronym. Not sure if he said it’s either for the album or the single. 

At first I thought it could be “Friends On A Mission”, but Matt said it’s not.

But I can’t think of anything else that would make sense
