Thats your goal? Other people to praise you?  We know nothing at this point besides what The band has shared. Ive told many i do not need so called "insiders" here.,but i cant make you stop typing.  What really annoying is how Other people whine for not accepting your bs

To mess with us and throw us off the scent after all the Madonna Inn leaks and snoops. It would have been easy to coordinate a few posts with old photos and location tags and yet there was not a single actual sighting of them there and at the same time there was a sighting of Billie with some model in LA and pics from Newport.  To fly in and out in a day with a hurricane bearing down?  And why would Sara go for such a short trip?   

I’m highly suspicious and think we’ve been literally punk’d.

Let's all be pleasant to each other around here please. Like wow. Trust me, I get how aggravating it is to want information and not get it. But don't take it out on anybody here. What we DO know is that shit is obviously ramping up. Let's also take a look at some of the rumors and start piecing things together. I'm not a detective, but I've watched a lot if detective TV shows and I would say that all signs point to 9/10 being our day. We have 9 days left...we can make this.

Going back the apparent Instagram leak that was discussed fuck knows how many pages ago, I think if it was legit it would've been pulled by now. Leaking actual music this close to the official announcement would be something they'd want to avoid at all costs I'd imagine, yet nine hours later it's still there.

Unless it was deliberate. It’s only two seconds of audio. Longshot did a similar thing before releases as a tease.

That was my second thought, but in that case I'd have thought it'd be a bit sooner to the official release, I'm not quite sure what they have to gain from it right now aside from teasing us dedicated fans who, let's be honest, don't need much effort to sell to.

we have insiders here, that have in 99% of the time previously been spot on and given us info we wouldn’t have before.

 

this is a forum, any scrap of information we get is great and especially when it comes from people who we know have connections within the bands inner circle.

 

theres a saying “attack the post, not the poster” which is basically “don’t be a dick”. Take that advice.

 

weve no reason to doubt the regular insiders we have here. If they are all wrong and September is miles wrong, then fine. But at the minute all signs point that way!

It was really in-audible so I can’t see why anyone would be to concerned.  Especially since at this stage the band have all but confirmed they have new music coming (via insta posts etc).

But I agree it could be quite possible considering where things are at.

People on Reddit are claiming with certainty it's Simple Creatures' "Thanks, I Hate It". I'm not hearing that at all. Still think it sounds like Bang Bang but time-shifted.

I don't quite understand why people seem to not hear anything in the leak, maybe my ears are just more attuned to that sound quality from many hours of no-budget 70s punk but I pretty clearly heard a guitar playing a downward chord progression (I'm reasonably sure it's C# C# C# B B G# G#) with accompanying drums.

I sat through all three minutes of that godawful shite and I'm with you on that, couldn't place the clip in it at all. The leak does sound very Green Day, I'll give it that much, but I have to say I can't place it in Bang Bang either, it's similar but I don't think it's taken from it.

The more I think about it the more it seems to me like it actually could be legit, which makes me wonder why it's been allowed to happen.

It does sound similar to Bang Bang but I'd say it's different chords. It's hard to say anything about it from a few seconds.

For promotion purposes? To get people talking about it? If so it worked. Or maybe they’re just so excited about the song they can’t help it. All guesses of course. Obviously this account was created for the sole purpose of leaking this snippet, so there’s that. And it’s still there. Which means it’s so much BS that the GD people are ignoring it, or they themselves leaked it.
