So either a surprise release and show the same day or radio stations are just repeating the reddit rumor. Chicken or egg?

Or the radio stations thing is just a rumor that the guy is spreading, I wonder if he actually heard that or if he just read it somewhere. I find very odd that radios are starting to talk about release dates and none but a random guy on Twitter hear it and picks it up. 

Have anyone here actually heard this anywhere else?

I'm really hoping that that Whiskey A Go Go thing is true. Will definitely be trying to make the quick trip from Phoenix if it is!! I already told Nick to be prepared to call in sick that day and the next.

You may be right. However, Whiskey A Go Go has events scheduled on pretty much every Tuesday. Tuesday 9/10 has nothing going on. Could very well be coincidence, but I feel a bit more confident every day that 9/10 is open on their calendar.

I’m feeling like this could be legit. The radio stations could be guessing on a single release based on this rumor. But an empty space on their calendar is very compelling evidence (we’ve seen that before with the side projects when shows were in the works)

And even more so based on the fact that there are very few open dates on their calendar. They are a venue that has bands booked every single night.

I'm hoping for a September 2nd or 3rd show at Whiskey. There is still nothing on the calendar Event and I'll be right on Sunset Blvd on those dates.

Being that Whisky a Go Go has 3 dates open (September 2, 3, and 10), there are 2 possibilities. Either Green Day is playing all 3 nights, or they just requested to keep those 3 nights open as they decide which one is best for them
