Posted that before reading the article. My bad. But those are general "journalistic" reactions to something being false. That being said, good on Kerrang! Mag for actually reaching out to the band to get an answer before running with it like Rocksound & Alt Press did. Really bummed that Alt Press just ran with this. They used to be a great magazine with excellent writers. I hate today's journalism world in which everyone HAS to be the FIRST to break "news" before they confirm the source.

MillenniumFan Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 To all those saying it's obviously just "Kerrang letting the cat out of the bag": Allegedly (as stated in the article and responded to me by tweet) Kerrang Magazine and Kerrang Radio are actually unaffiliated, meaning that it would make no sense for Kerrang Magazine to cover Kerrang Radio's ass. I think we have to all accept that our hopes were simply built on incredibly shaky grounds from the start and that there's not gonna be any new Green Day any time soon. Unlike in 2016 and 2012, we don't have the same security to say anything about the state of the album, never mind release dates...
