Ross_19 Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 I imagine that with every passing day people will start to think the September single Feb album looks more realistic, but one of the main reasons I think we will get something before September is because, if I were them, I wouldn't want to clash with the American Idiot anniversary. Yeah I would get the argument that capitalising on the undoubted publicity that will bring would be good for the band, but I just don't see it being the best way to get the spotlight on the new music. I think a single in August would be ideal, then any AI related things can happen in September, because there will without doubt be coverage of the anniversary by music publications, and then after September the build up to album 13 can take centre stage rather than any new single comng in September getting overshadowed by American Idiot chat. I suppose the only reference we have for this at the moment is how blink have handled the Enema anniversary, although it is admitedly under different circumstances. If GD can get attention on them in August with a killer new single, any publicity surrounding the AI landmark could provide them with a mini boost of promotion for September and heading toward the album release. Just my thoughts, would be interested to hear anybody's opinion.

I know there's not much real info to go on and I have no problem with people speculating, talking about what little info we do have, being excited or making jokes, but just the same trolling repeated doesn't add anything.
