Yes it's sad times being an Eminem fan :P. Rap is still probably about 50% of what I listen to though. I'm old so I mostly listen to old rap but there's some new artists I like as well, love some Kendrick Lamar. Green Day just took over as the number one obsession and has yet to be topped, seems unlikely that it ever will be now.

I don't listen to a lot of Kendrick Lamar, but I really appreciate the type of rap he makes. I have a lot of respect for him.

It's hardly a bad time to be an Enimem fan and KL is changing the genere.

Here is one of Eminem's greatest releases and I've booked Eminem over 30x.

"Walk on Water" is one of his greatest releases ever.

As for Hip Hop, Gorillaz are dropping a new album in October which is old school Gorillaz. The new album will have some of the most intelligent Hip Hop you've ever heard. Their highly acclaimed but not so well performing last outing "Humanz" is a bit out there for it's time and the hip hop is too complex but they went back to basics on this one and I've heard the whole album and it's the best since Demon Days. Definitely as good as Plastik Beach at a minimum but waiting for the dust to settle before making final decisions. :)

And anyway, here is some hip hop you've never heard and is probably the best:

My personal favorite Hip Hop song:

And these guys do these next two songs completely freestyle to the alphabet "Alphabet Aerobics" and freestyle to the PERIODIC CHART Time Tables AND IT MAKES SENSE "Chemican Calesthenics". Both are amazing to hear different live at every warehouse or venue I've seen them. The best hip hop bank in the world you've never seen:

Chemical Calisthenics:

Yeah I like Walk on Water but the album as a whole isn't so good, disappointment after a promising single that made it sound like he was going to do something really different with it instead of the same tired dated stuff. And I've heard Blackalicious haha

That you've heard Gift of Gab makes you amazing.

If I remember correctly, you also knew Har Mar Superstar.

And in England? YOU ARE A MUSIC FAN! That you know Blackilicious in the U.K., at your age, at this time is one of the most interesting and surprising (happily surprised) thing I've heard in years I think. Wow!

You just shot back up into top 5. Bravo!

Out of curiosity, did you know that Aerobics and Chalestinis were freestyle "games" for their warehouse underground parties.

I've just heard a lot of rap, I don't know them that well :P. Har Mar Superstar was known for novelty songs and going around in his underwear in the UK in the mid 2000s and would be a random fun celebrity guest on stuff off the back of it so for a short time he was well known.

Well yeah. That's how he is here. He is like a novelty celebrity that you would see performing at some real celebereties house but he's a Hollywood Institution.

I am just surprised to hear he has performed in England. I would be surprised to hear he performed in Northern California!

My parents literally played Dookie a lot when I was in the womb, and then after the womb the Green Day never stopped... so I think it’s safe to say there literally is no “before Green Day” for me and I’m totally fine with that.
