'The Longshot' - Debut self-titled EP

I’m listening now to Taxi Drivr for the first time and I FUCKING LOVE IT, I don’t love the drums but the song is good. It feels polished but not quite done.

Chasing a Ghost on first listen sounds like a story I’ve heard too many times and on first listen sounds like a very polished demo.

i dig the first two but I like TD and do not like Chasing a Ghost ON FIRST LISTEN to the last two.

As for people wondering if there is more, they are calling it an EP which is traditionally a few songs release of a future album. The only way albums get killed is if the EP sucks. This is indie so rules out the door.

Yeah, it's really hard to NOT FIND similiarites between Green Day songs, Billie Joe always had that thing of cut and past harmonies and chords here and there, haha...

I dare say this EP will turn people who didn’t like the trilogy back to it. It feels like a bridge to the trilogy sound.

Lovin it, can't wait for the vinyl to come out.  Hoping anyway.  Listening on my computer right now.  I don't download music, so hoping for a Cd to come out to listen to it in my car. 

The songs were worth waiting for and all the excitement leading up to it.   Billie Joe amazes us again.

It's not available on Spotify in Ireland anyways so that sucks but when I tried to play it, it said "If you have the file on your computer you can import it."

I think it's interesting that Chasing a Ghost seems to be most people's favorite. It's an OK song to me. Personally, I dislike the voice and guitar effects used on the verses. I like Taxi Driver and Love is for Losers is my absolute favorite!!

Hope there are more songs to come soon.

Loved all of em. If the rest of album is this good, we are definitely in for a treat. Still hoping Devil's Kind makes It on there, I could definitely see it fitting with these songs

Do you think it’s possible he’s going to release all this material as a series of EPs rather than a single album? If that’s the case I hope we still get some kind of physical release.

Also, after all the great artwork they’ve put on the Instagram account, how did the EP end up with that terrible cover?!
