I prefer bands to solo musicians because honestly, one person can't do it all.  And Mike and Tre have contributed a lot to Green Day's success.  Mike came up with the bass line that became Longview, which was a turning point for their career.   I would really be devastated if Mike or Tre left the band for whatever reason.  But really, Green Day could continue AND be successful with a different line up.  It would be rough and GDA would implode with rage (we can't handle abbreviations, much less a whole new rhythm section!) (I hate A.L.L. abbreviations by the way, I'm always having to do all this research to figure what freaking song you guys are talking about!!!!! GRRRR) 

....but Billie knows lots of musicians.  He could get a great band and continue under the Green Day banner forever.  There are a lot of big name bands in the world today with NO original members.  Think about THAT.  Green Day could continue indefinitely for the rest of time.  

Anyway.  

What do we know for certain about The Longshot yet?

I'll try, but I'll likely be in the back, as I couldn't get out earlier. On the bright side, because i was stuck at my computer until late, I was able to be there to buy a ticket to the San Francisco show, so I guess it all evens out, lol.

Won't be in San Francisco until June so I'm just assuming they'll all be gone by then.
