Ok so I'm liking this project way more than I thought I would. at first when I heard LIFL I wasn't too impressed. the music was good and the melodies were great but lyrically it didn't do anything for me. I know some people were saying that his singing is him trying to sound young, but when you refer to someone as "kid" I think that makes you sound old lol. These 2 new songs definitely spiked my interest, this is gunna be a great album to blast while driving with the windows down on a sunny day!

Anyone else find it strange that he seems to have stopped accepting so many requests at a time? He's only accepted like 2 people since yesterday. Maybe that's a sign that it's almost time for the big reveal!

Oh shit! The main riff for ''Chasing a Ghost'' is very similiar to another one wich I can't remember now, Lol I love the pre-chorus of this one too, haha! I HATE THE VOCALS on the verses.... For ''Taxi Driver''... I'm glad he named a song like my favourite movie. I love it! The verses' melody reminds of an old song I wrote back in 2010, maybe X0 I suppose these songs are a mix of his main influences like Replacements, Generation X... let's say he's having fun without worry about sounding like Green Day or writing meaningful or great stuff. You can feel he's trying to ''relax'' here... Thanks for these link you babes! :-) Taxi driverrrrrr, tu du du du!

what if chasing a ghost is like a spiritual sequel to devil's kind??? just speculating but to me the lyrics sound a bit like the aftermath of the story behind that song..

Yeah, I thought that too. Like he’s feeling awkward and bored at a party where he doesn’t drink or do drugs anymore.

Can I just say that I love how the overall response is positive?  Even when criticisms are mixed, it comes from a positive place.  I'm so used to being on Muse boards where 90% of first responses are negative.  It's really refreshing.

The vocal delivery and the lyrics in Taxi Driver are a bit different, I like it!    

These songs give me this feeling that Billie Joe is working toward something.  Especially seeing you guys say it sounds like the Trilogy, I can almost see a pattern.  I believe Billie Joe has a certain sound in his head and he's working his butt off trying to create something as awesome as what's up there.  He's trying to realize his masterpiece because he knows that he can out-do American Idiot if he only tickles the right demon.  

I love the Trilogy and I can definitely hear it in these tracks, but I don't think it's him trying to sound like the Trilogy.  I hear Billies influences, I hear him emulating and paying homage to the greats of past Rock N Roll.  Billie wants to play really big, ''rock out in front a mirror' style Rock N Roll and he's doing it.  

He's doing what he was put on this earth to do.  

I know that whatever this turns out to be, it's going to be good through and through.

Wow, these songs are killer. Way better than the title track. I like these more than most of RevRad too. They're very poppy, but in a good way. Still Breathing and Youngblood are poppy too, but in a bad way  I can't wait for this album to drop!

I think there's another misleading thing going on with trilogy... I don't understand the ''it sounds like trilogy'' thing, to be honest. Apart from a few weird songs, trilogy songs sound like Green Day have always sounded. The problem, to me, is with the vocals and the un-inspired writing. I never had troubles with the cleaner guitars on these LPs, I'll tell you that X0

''Youngblood'' turned into the song I play the most off RevRad, even if maybe I think the best out of it is ''Somewhere Now''... Anyways, my actual rating (lol) is:

Same pinch! I’ve been playing drums since 11, and just 3-4 years back I shifted to guitar. It isn’t Tre, and given, Joey posted that clip, it’s fairly possible that it’s him, moreover, he did a gig with Billie. With Jason on Bass
