Justin1 Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Happy to hear them go back to Trilogy style songs (their best)! Only for true fans of real rock music, and how guitars and melodies are suppose to work together!

M1KEY Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 I like it. Lots more lead guitar in this than most GD songs. Seems like it's something Billie likes to write but then gets 86'd by producers... a lot of the Trilogy demos had more lead guitar than the final tracks did, and I remember reading that East Jesus Nowhere originally had lots of lead guitar. Also, the "remix" of Fell for You had extra lead in it.

Only 10 members browsing this thread at the moment? Huh, You don't see that often on a hot topic like this. Shall we enjoy it?
Jollyroger118 Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 I'm a fan! I don't really hear similarities to waiting or anything but from what I can make out the lyrics are pretty good I like the bride of Frankenstein line a lot

But still happy for some new materials There's only so many notes/chords/melodies out there, y'know. It's bound to happen.

Yeah, i know its for fun and the melodies are limited, but billie recycled bring it on home to me so well, and i know hes capable of making better stuff

DookieLukie Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 I know we've beat this dead horse already, but I wish Billie would just let the vocals rip without these chimey vocal filters. Nimrod of AI style.
Lisasinferno Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Thank you so much for up loading it here. I’m not US based and was having major palpitations about not being able to hear it. Only managed the one listen before work and I’ve got the chorus stuck in my head. Love it

Can‘t really wait to here it lol It can be shared but only streaming services (YouTube, Soundcloud, etc) but no direct downloads. If that changes we’ll let you know

Nimrod of AI style. I really liked his vocals on that "The Armstrongs" collab song. If he could do the next Green Day album like that it would phenomenal.

Tbh when I first listened to it I wasn’t fussed, but I listen to those albums all the time now.

I apologize for jumping the gun and not getting permission first, but I assumed a mod would simply kill the post if it was a problem and I knew people were waiting.

I'm glad they had moved on with RevRad which is why I'm not excited for the Longshot vocals, judging from the clips I've heard

I'd say Trilogy vocals were better than RevRad.
Jack Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Here's the song posted on YouTube, if that's easier for anyone:
DookieLukie Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 I'm getting very excited at the concept of a full album of bluesy, power-pop/southern rock songs.
Grinch Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 I really like the direction of this album. It's like a more laid back Green Day style. Sounds great

I find myself going back to the Trilogy more so than any album! Bouncing off the Walls and Youngblood are the only exceptional tunes on RevRad, and Love is for Losers already surpasses most of RevRad to me.
StillBreathing Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Fuck me, so I just literally got my car back from the mechanics, then heard this song. First line: ‘I’m riding shot gun in a car that’s broken down’ You just get me Billie 😂😂😍
James11693 Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Love it, sounds like Green Day but with 70s / 80s influences
