No, their music has most definitely evolved. And what they do with their music has nothing to do with the amount of time and money anyone has invested in them.
jengd Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 So are we thinking the album name is Chasing athe Ghost? - going by Italian Rage And Love’s fab post from Longshot IG. Great name if so.

Great name if so. No it’s Love is for Losers. Chasing a Ghost is one of the song titles. I think Italian R&L just picked a random photo for its post.

Just want to let you know not everyone here dislikes Insomniac/their old style haha. I think they've made more mature albums than that but I think I know what you mean, it's serious and intense. As for the production I think different types suit different albums and Insomniac's is a perfect fit. With this new album I just hope the production complements it well, can't really wish for a particular style when we have no idea what the songs will be like!
Billie Joes Eyelids Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Have there been any new posts on the Longshot account? Also, can someone who has been accepted ask if this project has anything to do with the Coverups? Billie has been answering questions on there so it’s a good way to get some info IMO.

My follow request was accepted pretty quickly given the amount of people requesting, maybe a couple hours after I sent it? I don't think it's any similar to the Coverups apart from the whole "quietly start an Instagram account and slowly build up some press by making vague and mysterious posts" thing. It seems like a completely original project.

And if I’m not mistaken, someone already asked if it is a side project with the other members of Green Day and Billie said no.
JellyTime Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Someone in this thread mentioned Devil's Kind few posts (or pages) ago... Hi, Billie! I hope you're having fun driving us mad!
greenalert997x Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 It would be nice if they rerecorded Devil's Kind to give 60s or 70s vibe . No polishing, no vocal effects. The pics seem to be old-fashioned
pacejunkie punk Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Devil’s Kind yes!!!! This is making me happier by the minute. Les Skunks!!!!!

Maybe I'm influenced by the fact that I loved the movie - as a movies obsessed - and this makes me love ''Ordinary World'' more, maybe, just 'cause it fits, somehow, the movie's plot and... I love ''Devil's Kind'' too! :-)

(I had to rip them from YouTube and import them into Spotify) I’m so happy he thought so too. Those songs deserve a bigger audience.

I'm curious to see how he reworked them for the album (if he did, which I assume)
pouty bitch Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Oh my fucking god, Devil's Kind! I was starting to lose interest in this, but now I'm so excited all over again.

Hi, Billie! I hope you're having fun driving us mad! I'm really turning nuts, I'm becoming crazier every day because of him and what he's doing now doesn't help. But at the same time I'm really enjoying it now, so no doubt that if he does read the thread personally (which is a very exciting thought), he's having the most fun, and interest.
