Firstly ditch twitter. Address the leader directly standing on a podium, stern face and remind them that while tensions between the two nations are high, nobody wants to threaten war as America does not want to have to unleash the might of it's arsenal on any nation reminding the leader in question that the US always welcomes diplomacy etc. The difference is Trump doesn't react like say Obama or any reasonable president before him. He retreats to taunts. It doesn't particularly matter in the end because say it or not N Korea knows it will cease to exist if it ever launches a weapon at the US and the US isn't going to launch a weapon and start WW3 to find itself blown to bits either. Literally everyone knows that Trump supporters opinions won't change. Which is why Billie wasn't pitching his impeachment spiel at Trump supporters. It doesn't make sense for someone to state the obvious to someone who is struggling to make a very good point made. Billie did post this publicly, so of course he got all sorts of responses. He could've said something more like this as his response: "Hello, @whoever, I'm sorry to inform you that I am aware people disagree with this statement, and that DT has supporters. However, I'm trying to convince people still undecided in their opinions, as well as those who already dissaprove, to use this hashtag and try and end DT's reign. If you do not like or agree with this, please do everyone a favor and simply don't read it." It's fucking useless to say something like "everyone has opinions" to the guy. He isn't four. He knows. He also got angry, but at the same time, he had good points (in his original post, which is really what should be focused). You should never attack people who have different political beleifs. That was wrong of him. But people should know what to expect from him. I mean, AI. This isn't new. Also he's human. Of course he gets angry, and acts irrationally. I'm not saying it's okay, but I am saying it sorta makes sense. And really, would anyone like to be told the obvious after they tried to portray a way to help? He basically was undermined. He also literally said this isn't about liberal or conservative agendas anymore, this is about humanity. People ignored this, and he flipped. I'm going to say again, it was inappropriate. I'm also going to say again, it's insanity inducing. Also, like @Hermione was saying, it's insanity inducing because it is useless and has nothing to do with his political outcry, not because he can't change anyone's opinion. What I know is that despite all the posturing, North Korea would never strike first. They understand they cannot win a war and that any serious action against the US or South Korea will result in devastating retaliation. You aren't exactly wrong that it's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation for a US President because unfortunately a large portion of the American population has a throbbing war boner. See how Obama was somehow characterized by Republicans as a being a weak foreign policy President despite the fact that he was waging 7 wars.
