Tubbie Head Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 He never says "Looking for a Buzz" !?? But nice weird video with no obvious meaning!
UNICORN VOMIT Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 My favourite part is Bj mowing the lawn - also does it remind anyone else of the Christmas elves meme

Sorry but I'm going to believe my own ears over you Just because the lyric video and booklet says "buzz", doesn't mean Billie actually sings it.

That Dude Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Hands down THE best lyric video of them all. I'm not saying it's the best song from Rev Rad but for me, it's a really special song. I want a shirt that says "I feel like a cello". Haha.

grene cniht Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 These lyric videos are based entirely on the lyric booklet and nothing else. It doesn't seem they go through further examination by the band themselves - hence "buzz" for "cause" or the switch between "sing" and "scream" in Revolution Radio among possibly other examples. Anyways, lyric videos for RevRad have been gold so far (besides Ordinary World maybe). I sure hope they keep coming!
stories and songs Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Love it! This video style is so cool. He doesn't say buzz. He just doesn't. There's no "b" sound whatsoever and you can't convince me otherwise.
The Bellie Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Billie doesn't say buzz indeed. Well, I guess accidents will happen with the lyrics... This video has my love too. So many strong and intriguing moments. Lots of speed, I've been rewatching it for two hours now so I can pay attention to every detail! Hearing it carefully I'm seized with the "haha... yeah" between 2:30 and 2:35, that I didn't notice until now. The part when Billie sings "here's to the middle of the road" (at 1:04) and you can see the three of them, Billie in the middle (no wonder ), and why is Tre next to him looking so taller than him?? That's even like that in reality This line is maybe the one I admire the most in this song I've loved from the beginning : "here's to the middle of the road - at least it's better than here" the kind of line that probably means something different to everyone, and I haven't really figured out clearly what it means to me, but it's the kind of lyrics I need right now, something I'll willingly think about. Okay, and to finish with, 2:17 killed me...
thundercatmary Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I really love it! Must be doing it's job cause it's made me appreciate the song even more.
Otis Big Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 It's crazy to me that you people can't hear the word buzz. There is a distinct difference between the buzz and cause.

unextraordinarygirl Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I honestly can't say I love it. It's just an okay video for a just okay song. I never really liked this song that much to begin with.

The Grohl Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I just watched the video...don't know why it took me all day, but I loved it! I was singing along, but everytime a big headed Billie came on I started laughing. Those stop motion Green Day pop outs just kept me smiling. So far the lyric videos have been way better than the official RevRad videos.

The Grohl Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I had to: For some reason this was my favorite moment.
greendepent Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 They should stick to this kind of videos. I like them more than a fully produced one. Now play the goddamn song live, goddamit!!
reneetaleena Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 It's my favourite RevRad song, so glad I got to see it live! I really loved the part where the three of them were standing together while everything was in flames, pretty symbolic.
pacejunkie punk Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I think the lyric video helped me understand that cello line. Every time they say "I feel like a cello" it shows someone or something balancing on a point and teetering back and forth. You know how a cello has that wand that comes out and it balances on? It made me think of that. So feeling like a cello can mean many things having to do with keeping one's balance in life or wavering over thoughts or ideas. Not bad huh? Lyric videos are useful. That line always befuddled me.

They should've stuck a little cello in there one of the times for fun

But even if they were too dumb to avoid doing that (pun intended) maybe they shouldn't have made a lyric video that highlights the lyrical fail and then try to avoid it somehow.

I don't think it's stupid or a fail, I just wanted and expected to see a cello in the video . If they can put it in the song they should be able to put it in a video, but I guess it's not them personally making the video so whether a cello made an appearance or not wasn't really their decision
