Sister of Grace Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Oh wow that was just awesome!! Thank you and good night!
MillenniumFan Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 For anyone that missed it, here you go:
Johnny Higher Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 That was super cool. Loved all the old stuff they played.
whatshername0303 Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 It was nice to listen to it and read the comments here at the same time. Thanks guys!
pacejunkie punk Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 OMG that was amazing!!! Exactly what I hoped they'd do, like a little club set but way longer than I expected. They're the best (and I donated).
Niënor Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 That was AMAZING!!! OMG, the songs! And the garagey sound. And just the 3 of them. So good.
pouty bitch Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Wow, well that was intense. Amazing song choices.
ThibautDookie Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 WOW just seeing Billie, Mike and Tré play in a small room just like the old days ! And that setlist that's insane !!!!
Marki. Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 This was so awesome, I'm already rewatching it one more time before I go to bed
IcyMoffatt Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 I got to watch it, but with no sound (I'm at school). What did they play?
gd86arg Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 1. Paper Lanterns 2. 2000 Light Years Away 3. Only of You 4. Christie Road 5. Jason Andrew Relva 6. Burnout 7. One of My Lies 8. Coming Clean 9. When I Come Around 10. She HELP MEEEE, I DIDN'T REMEMBER THE ORDER lol
billietremike9324 Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 I loved this so much! I wish I had enough money to donate cause I would have but, I still enjoyed the mini concert they put on. I love how kind and caring they are. Thank you Green Day for doing this!

pouty bitch Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Shit, I need to watch this again, but I really don't have time. I'll have to watch it tomorrow.
Amber Age Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Wow. This was awesome. I recorded everything and I think I'll fix the audio/video delay tomorrow so I can actually have a video of the stream without sync issues. Guess it's illegal to put it on YouTube? Anyway, this was great. And I'm ashamed to admit I didn't know half the songs. I recognised Christie Road and 2000 Light Years Away because the lyrics in the chorus kinda gave them away, got Coming Clean because I actually know that song, and of course the more popular songs - When I Come Around, She and so on. I think I should really listen to my Dookie CD instead of just playing it in the background. And - but that belongs into the fangirl thread, I think - there were some really, really adorable moments. P.S: Oh, and One Of My Lies. I recognised that too. The other songs, I didn't know.
MillenniumFan Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Well, let's hope they keep the video of the stream up:
DeJennsitized Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 If anyone wants to know where to skip to in the video for the band, it's at 25:12
jengd Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Well that was awesome! I came out of everything bar facebook as my superfast broadband isn't always what its cracked up to be, and you guys filled 6 pages chatting about it! OMG they played Christie Road, possibly my all time fav! Loved - Mike having to work so hard not to jump around and his t-shirt starting to come apart where the guitar strap was catching the neck Tre wiping his face on his t-shirt Billie re-tuning his guitar mid song while still singing, how is that even possible! Great set, I thought they would only play about three songs Also, they looked, great and so relaxed - excellent all round. Sounded pretty good for the setting and really great to see just the three of them. Oh, nearly forgot, harmonising, who's been reading the thread about the interview then and all the comments about harmonising?
AmyxLongview Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 It was pretty cool to watch that right before I leave to see them in Tampa tonight
pacejunkie punk Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 They had to know the Facebook followers are the hardcore fans and this is what they would want to hear. There's no way they're not aware of all the internet talk about set lists and rare tracks. This was super smart of them. What a thrill. Like Eggplant's living room And the harmonies on Only of You? I love my band.
