It's not allowed because you can buy it, we don't allow illegal downloads.

I'm all for more trilogy love, I really like this mix of the song, not sure if I like it more than the original though.

I haven't listened to Green Day in a while so I got surprised when I was checking out the itunes store and saw a "remix" of the track for sale. I admit, I was expecting it to sound completely different considering it's a remix. I like this version, but I'm curious as to why they would randomly release it. Maybe for shits n giggles, or maybe we can expect more?

Didn't Mike mention in an interview a while ago that they'd remixed the guitars on some of the Trilogy songs (as in plural)?  Wonder if this means we'll start getting new ones released (I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for Rusty James or Let Yourself Go to receive the same treatment.)

I agree it is a bit weird suddenly releasing it now though rather than say during downtime in between albums to keep fans interested.  It would even make slightly more sense releasing them as B Sides to the RevRad singles though I don't think we're ever going to get a proper 'single' again - these days it pretty much just means released to radio/music video.  I would love for Revolution Radio or Forever Now to at the very least get alternative artwork on itunes with an Otis Mix trilogy song as a B Side, if we don't get a physical single.

So, Billie just confirmed on his instagram live video that there'll be more remixes coming. I'm excited

So excited about more remixes! I really hope they'll do Lazy Bones.

I don't really think any of the tracks need to be remixed.. then again I think I'm one of the only ones that loved the trilogy. To me, all of the records had their own distinct sound that's fine the way it is. Though,  I am glad they are getting noticed again. Maybe they are thinking of playing songs off it again? It'd be nice to at least hear them play Stay the Night or Oh Love considering they were the two staple tracks played each night during that era.

This is pretty cool but honestly nothing special. Nice to hear the guitars a bit louder, but there's only so much you can do with a remix when you're using the same source material, so it's never going to sound very different. I just wish they'd let it lie at this point. We had Demolicious which was interesting, but I hope they don't continue to rehash this stuff over and over again. What's done is done.

I do hope they remix Nightlife since the existence of Lady Cobra pissed off so many uptight fans

I'd love a version of Nightlife without Lady Cobra's vocals.  I love the music for it (you can hear it during Cuatro).

Need a Nightlife version with a bonus rap verse added to the remix :D

Nowadays, people's expectation for a remix are for something to have a drastically different instrumental track among other additions, when in reality it can be as subtle as mixing the original tracks to achieve a different sound (kind of self-explanatory, but still). First of all, I'll just put it out there that I like. Aside from being a sucker for any new Green Day, it just had a completely different vibe to it, and added to a song I already enjoyed.

It seems like Green Day looked at the trilogy as a disappointment, and part of that stems from the fact that they didn't channel that certain live energy in the production. While Demolicious immediately remedied this, the Fell For You remix seems to be another product of that mindset. What comes next? Who knows. I'd love an EP or something with more remixes and/or non-LP tracks.

On the topic of remixes, I really can barely distinguish the Jerky Boys remix of 2000 Light Years Away, nor the Richard Dodd Medium Wide Mix of Redundant (I've also heard he remixed the entire Nimrod album for an Australian boxset). Those seem pretty minimum compared to the new Otis Remix.
