Not too different to the original. It's almost the same only very slight difference.

If I wasn't told this is a remixed version I'm pretty sure I wouldn't even notice it's any different from the original.

Ok I've changes my initial opinion on this. The first time I listened to this it was on my iPad with just the ipad speaker. Now I have listed to it with ear phones the differences are more obvious. I do like the heavier guitars and bigger sound.

I like it. It is not substantially different, but still sounds great. I've always loved the song and I still do.

 Yep, still digging it :) It just sounds richer (to my untrained ears) and the guitars are sexy af.

Even as a sworn Uno fan the track didn't necessarily stand out for me, but after the live stream and this I've found a new appreciaton for it. Plenty of excitement and Trilogy love on social media as well. No matter the reason for the surprise release it's some low effort and fairly efficient promo, and as mentioned above I'll take any "new" material we can get. If there's more coming then fucking great

I'd listen to it. But kind of seems like overkill when they already released Demolicious.

Indeed, the trilogy does not need to be made all over again. I think it is already fine ; nevertheless, improving / remixing a trilogy song is certainly because both (trilogy and song) are worth it, from the beginning. I see it that way!

I wouldn't say that Demolicious and a remixing have the same meaning or effect in regards of the original trilogy. Demolicious is a first shot and as such, even released after, it is information about the trilogy's debut ; remixing now implies time currently spent to revisit the songs. Of course, both show how the band have interest in these songs, and I'm very curious to see where it's gonna lead them now!

Just heard it on Spotify with headphones and the original back to back. Small change but big improvement. Thrashy, grungier guitars and the song really rocks. Love it.

Yes, you have to listen on a good set of headphones or speakers to appreciate it. That’s with all music ;)

It sounds kinda better than the trilogy version but what's the point of this? I mean why record a not so old song again and re-release it randomly?

Umm i think they are now releasing something Trilogy related. I guess i might be wrong though :P

I don't think so. It just doesn't make sense to do that. I mean, they should be promoting RevRad and yes, it is nice to see the trilogy get some attention but it makes no sense to do a trilogy related project when we already have Demolicious

I don't really like or dislike this remix, it's just kind of there. I don't really have a preference between this or the original either - it's just not very different to the original and I could just listen to either version.

To me, the best thing about this is that it has given me a new appreciation for Uno. Since last year, Uno has been the only GD album that I disliked, but now this remix has made me want to listen to the album again, and I've found some hidden gems that didn't stick out to me before.

I loved it! The best part was that hard drumbeat towards the end, should have been more of it than just the one hit.

I really like this version! What a nice treat.

I dig it. It has more of a Green Day sound than it did before — a teensy but heavier, and definitely punchier.

Sounds.  Exactly.  The.  Same.

I love it, it has such a retro, surfy sound. :runaround: Seriously I am so happy they did this and at the same time kinda sorry the whole trilogy doesn't sound like this. And I dig the new guitar bit in the chorus

Okay, firstly i really love this new mix!!

I'm not sure what people were expecting, the remix is to do with the sonic's and production of the song not the compositon. You need to listen to a high quality version of the song with good speakers or headphones.

The drums immediately sound much fuller, more bass and punch to them. Less top endy. Similiar to 'Know your enemy'. The rhythmym guitars are much more distorted and layered, and there are few bluesy twiddly bits accompanying the lead riff. The guitars in the verses have more drive to them, making the song feel less stale and much more lively. I think the bass guitar levels have been raised slightly. I'm not sure if the vocals have been rerecorded or not, but there are less annoying effects to them. There is a nice slapback delay to the vocals which sounds really tasty. The guitar part after 'ill spend the night living in denial' is almost a lower harmony which sounds cool. Overall, there is so much more life to the song, it feels a lot more organic and passionate.

The franky maddocks artwork for the cover could imply that there is going to be some sort of release from this which would be really cool. Maybe a compilation of remixes for some of the trilogy tracks which would be awesome. Maybe like 'uno, dos, tre- Otis studio remixes". I think a lot of fans are really ungrateful, this new remix is a really nice treat and id love to hear some more! its given the song a completely new lease of life.

Don't. Listen. Through. Your. Phone. Or. Laptop. Speaker.

I like how everyone has instantly become audio production professionals.

Love the original song...the new mix seems kind of pointless unless they release it as a single though.....weird news.

(I posted this before actually hearing the entire song.....I was right though.)

I like it. It's more rockier than the original but it keeps the fun of the original. I like both this and the original version.

Im still wondering why out of all of the trilogy songs they've remixed Fell for You? Maybe they felt it was a song that could be tweaked, or maybe they were just having fun experimenting in the studio. This remix has literally come out of the blue.

Clearly you are in the minority, no matter how many posts you make saying the same thing 😏

Well then because i am according to you, what is the main reason for why this song is good?

I have played guitar for 5 years and the only difference i can tell is that they adjusted the gain level from 2 to 4 or something like that. Still the excact same, boring, HORRIBLE lyrics imo. But so what

Feels like a odd flashback to 2000 or something. Awful :(

I wish I could like this more than once.

Of course they weren't going to rewrite the song. The sonical changes they made were all for the better. The Trilogy version feels much more flat.

I'm guessing someone with a brain approached the band and tried explaining that just because people couldn't digest an idea that epic and ambitious, they shouldn't take it personally and ignore what are some of the best rock songs this decade.

People these days are oblivious to art, and don't even know what they like anymore, or what their heart and mind connect to. The trilogy is the most underrated rock endeavour of the last 10 years, without a doubt! A straight up gift to anyone with a celebratory mood, and a love for stripped down 60s influenced rock!
