The song isn't that great ... Just don't see the point of realising a remake of a not a very special song from the trilogy now... What's the point?

Still feels almost the same as the trilogy. Only differnece is more distorted guitars (doesn't make the song too much better). Still i can't see any point of the song.

It's the same recording but mixed differently with louder vocals, more roomy sounding and "heavier" guitars.

Okay, if this really is the thing, then I really don't get the point. The differences to the actual version are so minimal that I'm having trouble finding any at all. It sounds the same to me. Why re-release a trilogy song like that? It's not even a remix. I'm not trying to hate, I never would, and I'm not saying it's not a good song, but .... I'm trying and failing to see the point of it.  Same shit under a different name. Kinda hoping that the actual thing turns out to be different than what was "leaked"

(The Demolicious version is better than that)

Well, based on one listen I like it! It does sound pretty much the same, tried to compare the vocals not sure I can tell them apart. But the guitars are punchier and sexier and more classic Green Day.

If this is it maybe they just don't mean it to be a huge thing, but a nice surprise? Would be totally random and a bit out of character promo wise I guess, but still. It's not even on any of the Green Day accounts, only Billie's roughly 24 hours before release. Like yeah, why, but also why the hell not?

I always love alternate mixes to songs. It's just so interesting to hear different takes on the way it's all put together. That's just me I guess, it's one of my biggest interests. I can hear a ton of differences between the two versions. One's not really better than the other (I think I like the trilogy version better still) but very fun. Like the 2,000 light years away alternate mix, some of the Nimrod mixes, etc. It's just rare to hear these.

also HOLY this is compressed even worse than Revolution Radio. Top is HDtracks version, middle is CD release, bottom is Otis remix. The dynamics are lost and the compression is smashed

Not too different to the original. It's almost the same only very slight difference.

If I wasn't told this is a remixed version I'm pretty sure I wouldn't even notice it's any different from the original.
