I'm sure Green Day are glowing with excitement on the nomination, especially Billies new teeth/night light.   I want my teeth to glow in the dark.

I love the Bang Bang video and I think the nomination is very well deserved! Especially nice to see it recognised as music channels have ignored it and played the lyric video instead.

Sucks that we can't all vote!

I think VMA is only for USA and EMA is for international.

I agree I like Video bang,Bang..but it doesn't matter I want them to win .anything.:)

I don't think they are attending, are they?

No they're in Boston.

I don't think they have much of a chance on this one. Hope I'm pleasantly surprised.

Was Still Breathing not eligible? It's a better video, my favorite from RevRad.

No just Bang Bang. Which is why I don't think it will win.

Actually I don't know if SB was eligible. Good question as to why it wouldn't get the nomination instead of BB.

Sorry, but so far this show is really hard to watch.

Oh, is it on already? Honestly though, it's 2 am here and I'm not gonna stay up watching a stupid award show that 1) Green Day aren't attending and 2) I wasn't even able to vote for anyways. Normally I think they show that on TV here but not this time and I would have to watch some online livestream... Green Day probably won't even win and I'm not keen on watching Taylor Swift's new video or faux rockstars like 30 Seconds to Mars just to get one or two mentions of Green Day :ermm:

Isn't it always... last time I watched an award show for Green Day I kept wondering if I had aged 20 years without noticing and forgot how celebrities these days interact and what kind of behaviorisms are trendy. These shows were so much simpler and actually fun a few years ago. Now it just seems like all these stars are living in their own bubble that is getting more superficial and more annoying, and everyone tries to one up the other with more superficiality and...  I don't know why I'm so bitter, maybe because I just noticed I'm getting older.

Yeah, I think the last time it was mentioned it was during Billie Joe's livestream right after they received the nomination? Sure seems like they don't give a fuck, which I can't fault them for

Yeah, this show has been pretty unbearable so far. Katy Perry's a terrible host just running this "Oh, the whole time I spent between making albums, I was in space" joke to the ground; the performances are just insufferable pop star after insufferable pop star; the Taylor Swift video was so cringey; and there is JUST. SO. MUCH. PADDING.

*he says like an asshole as Jared Leto is trying to pay serious tribute to Chester Bennington*

Can I borrow this for a social media post? This is just so true that I need to post this. I'll give credit!

I agree with you all on how cringey this show is so far. I only enjoyed Fifth Harmony and Demi. 😂 I'm not too fond of Taylor Swift (I love how Todrick Hall is in her video though). ❤️ P!nk is awesome though. 😄❤️

Pink and Ellen are the first part of this show I've actually enjoyed

LMAOOOOOO WHO EVEN WAS THAT JUST NOW??? His name was literally just KYLE, and his song was so fucking basic and awful!! Oh thankfully they cut to a different performer!!

Pink's speech brought me to tears. Her daughter is absolutely precious and whoever made that adorable girl feel ugly needs to be taught that it's  not about looks. It's about the person. ❤️

I had fun boppin' to that awful piece of crap. 😂 Couldn't understand a single word of it but, eh. ✌🏻😛

Not really a fan of how political it has to be, but, celebrities nowadays just ain't living unless they're smearing their opinions on everyone every time the spotlight shines on them. Regardless, I loved P!nk's speech and performance, brings out the nostalgia in a longtime fan who bought Funhouse at age fourteen and fell in love. Surprisingly liked Taylor Swift's video, and can't wait for something Green Day related. They're literally the only reason I'm watching this.

Anyone else mildly irritated with how basic and 'trendy'  all these artists are?

I'm kind of getting the feeling that the best rock video award isn't going to even get aired.  I was expecting it to be the first award just to get it out of the way, and there isn't much show left.
