Lilly89 Posted June 30, 2017 Author Posted June 30, 2017 Quote how is how he smells the only thing being discussed though? There must be more to say about what's like to get on stage/meet him/hug him etc than this Yeah, that's also what I wanted to know. How did you guys survive to hug him without collapsing? Was it a warm hug? What did it feel like to stay in his arms? Did you feel secure? Was it like you always imagined a hug of Billie? What did he tell you? Most of the time you can see him whispering to the fans on stage. I've always asked myself what he is telling them there.
Albelint Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 i bet she was freaking out too much to pay attention to the details.

Lilly89 Posted June 30, 2017 Author Posted June 30, 2017 What went through my mind every time hes kissing a stranger: Did he got all injections to prevent illnesses like hepatitis or something? Cause kissing a lot of guys on stage is a high health risk

Cause kissing a lot of guys on stage is a high health risk You'd be very unlucky to get hepatitis from kissing - it's possible, but very very uncommon for the disease to be transmitted that way, as it requires an open wound or sore for the virus to get into. EBV infection is far more common from kissing, but most people have/have had that anyway so it's not really an issue. Plus, Billie doesn't really kiss fans on the mouth that often right? So there's no real clear route for a risk of infection. He'll have been vaccinated against a lot of things because he travels a lot and because I'm sure he can afford it, but I don't think catching diseases off fans is a major concern of his. His biggest worry is probably catching common cold (no vaccination) or flu (annual vaccination for current strain for those at risk) from a fan, as those are most common and could lead to cancelled dates during recovery.

Well I hope you are right. There are rough forms of meningitis out there. Ive seen Videos where he kissed on the mouth. But i'm sure adrienne made sure that he is vaccinated

But he continued to do it even if he knew it would make her mad. Being drunk and on drugs, he was just acting like a clown on stage. Kissing a stranger was normal for him. That was a very long time ago. Being sober now, Billie has enough judgement to know when it's alright to kiss someone.
Lilly89 Posted July 1, 2017 Author Posted July 1, 2017 To be honest a kiss on the cheek would be fine for me. I would be happy to just hug him and I would inhale his smell. I'm a little bit surprised that some people that went on stage can't exactly tell what it smells like but I get that they were so nervous to realize that. I would be interested to know what you feel when you hug him. Anxiety? Excitement?
jengd Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Is it Hermoinie who has the FBHT story about Billie's thighs, where are you Hermoinie, you know we love to hear about that show...... I guess there would be so much to take in, being pulled up on stage, that perhaps, if people aren't aware of his smell that's a good night lol

He just sort of...let them do whatever they wanted.
pacejunkie punk Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Booze will do that. Now I notice he'll hug but doesn't initiate a kiss as much. What a difference when you're thinking clearly and can remember it later.

Did feel extremely surreal to get so close to him though, any time we came into contact it was like how is this actually happening . Most memorable thing was when he was going along the crowd singing to people and he sang to me while I was singing back for a bit and I opened my mouth for him to pour the beer he'd just opened into and he smirked and poured the lot on me, was just really fun and great to interact with him for a moment. Can't offer any insight into his smell because he and everyone else was drenched in beer 8 hours ago, IcyMoffatt said: Years ago, he did say something in an interview about Adrienne getting mad because he was kissing fans on stage. I've heard him say she googled Billie Joe Armstrong bisexual once and a load of photos of him kissing guys on stage came up but there was nothing negative about it, could be wrong but the only negative I've heard is from fans in youtube comments etc assuming she'd be bothered. Other than at some FBHT shows (where I guess sometimes he was a bit out of control but also he really was playing a character) I don't think it's ever been a seedy type of thing when he's kissed fans on stage. It began as a way to cheekily provoke macho type guys who'd come to shows and then became more of a friendly thing, like a nice hello and aren't we having a great time kiss. He also affectionately kisses family members, friends and people he admires (eg Paul Westerberg when he was guest guitarist in the Replacements, well after rehab) on the lips a lot, some people are just lip kissers . I think when he does it with fans it's just another way to include them.

Lilly89 Posted July 1, 2017 Author Posted July 1, 2017 Yeah. I still want to get on stage and give him a hug. I'm still hoping that someone comes on here to share his kissing/smelling/hugging experiences
pacejunkie punk Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 What's funny is how celebrity can change your attitude. I saw a show from YouTube once from around late 92 or early 93 and a female fan runs on stage and tries to kiss him. Billie ducks and runs away! Mike then says if they did that to her it would be assault and to watch out because their girlfriends would kick her ass! 😁 Oh how times changed -- they got used to it and much more comfortable with fans.
Lilly89 Posted July 1, 2017 Author Posted July 1, 2017 I think the choice to kiss him depends on how you are seeing him. I would rather hug than kiss him. To me he's more like a dad. He would be far too old for me. In most of the fanfictions I write he's portrayed as a dad, not as a boyfriend.

It's no secret that I find him very attractive but I still wouldn't attempt kissing him. It seems way too intrusive.
