Did anyone notice Deadbeat Holiday and Church on Sunday sounds like The Static Age(We'll Static Age is so Warning styled)

Edit:Macy's Day Parade too and Deadbeat Holiday sounds like American Eulogy

I think that 21stCBD is a great record. The pressure on the band must have been enourmous after the release of American Idiot. Everyone wanted another masterpiece like AI. And when you listen to 21stCBD, you can hear how much effort they put into every single song. Making this record must have been hard work.

I like the album, especially because it was the first Green Day record I bought. It is not a letdown but it has flaws. I think that many songs take to much time to build up, whichis why it's hard to play them live. I find it quite hard to listen to the entire record just because it is so long. Sometimes you wait two minutes for the drums and the guitars to kick in. But nevertheless, from an artistic point of view it's a great album. And they should defiitely play more of those songs live.

I didn't like this album when it was released, but now I love it! Currently obsessed with East Jesus Nowhere and can't stop listening to it.

21CB will always be fondly remembered by myself. The build up to it was the first time I experienced the whole getting excited about the album etc. I only discovered them in 2002/3 and most people i knew thought they'd split...then American idiot came on Kerrang and i lost my mind... since then i have rarely gone a day when i havent listened to green day.

Back to 21CB though. When it was first announced i was excited beyond belief. The days disappeared and it was finally upon us and I thought then the exact same as i do now. It is an absolute masterpiece. Even the songs I'm not the biggest fan of keep me hooked on the album. Both Viva La Gloria songs were instant standouts for me along with east jesus nowhere. I'd love to see more of it played live - restless heart syndromme, peacemaker, american eulogy - but i do know that they will one day break out some of those songs as a surprise, making the gig even more must see than normal.... god i love green day

21CB was the album I most enjoyed listening to as a whole piece and even now I will only play it front to back. It's really a classic rock album and so ambitious each time I hear it I'm blown away -- "How the heck did they write this?!"  Just when you think it's over, some of the best songs come near the end. The range is incredible and after 45 minutes you still haven't heard 21 Guns! It just keeps going and going.

Every time I listen to RevRad and wish it were longer I think of this album.
