ARTE a broadcastlig SS so hopefully tomorrow we get something - but highly doubtful

I'm in general not optimistic at all to the pro footage videos from the tour, because we almost never get anything, and it's just so dissapointing.

They could still give permission though even  now haha :)

Think we just got really lucky with Pinkpop..

Im still hoping that they'll release officially hyde park or oakland since they promote these show too much

There was a slot at Pinkpop too, enough said... :(

realistically speaking hyde park and oakland colliseum are without a doubt our two best chances at pro shot footage, judging by how much they've been promoting them in specific. i don't have hopes for southside, even though it would be nice, and i don't have any hopes for any of the other upcoming shows, if there's even any festivals left besides hyde park

Ok, yeah ARTE officially said that they don't have permission. So, that's cleared that one up...

Seems like PinkPop might be the last pro-shot footage we'll see of this leg of the tour in the near future.

This tour really sucks in that respect, 2013 was much better: We got Rock Am Ring, Reading (Cut and full), Optimus Alive, one clip from Montreux Jazz Festival, Highlights from Pinkpop, and one or two videos from Rock Werchter...

@MilleniumFan Yeah you sound right :(  . Shouldn't Green Day be banned from performing at festivals where their is TV Coverage . Because they are always a HEADLINE BAND and the television channel are losing out of viewing figures and AD revenue losses .  That's the main reason some festivals are broadcast for TV to show the big bands not some unknown wannabe metalcore band omg its so annoying :fuckyou:

Oh no they just ruined my Saturday night :fuckyou:

So I guess the only explanation is that they're recording footage for a live DVD, which would be a good thing of course. Still such a bummer that we don't get anything :(

Hyde Park and their hometown-show in Oakland is still in the game though, I think. Keeping my fingers crossed that we'll get something from there.

I have no idea how likely it is or anything but a sold out Oakland show with the boys on fire would surely be perfect DVD material :sherlock: One can dream, I guess.

i really hope so. first big live dvd was uk, second was around the world/japan, now it kinda/sorta makes sense to bring it back home, especially after them being welcomed back to gilman with open arms.

A DVD from the Oakland show would be perfection. So disappointed about the fact that we've gotten pretty much zero pro-shot footage this tour so I really hope a DVD & live album will happen.

IF they make a live DVD, I hope it's gonna be a full show. Bullet in a Bible and Awesone as F*ck are fun but I prefer DVDs with a full show and less cuts and effects. No black and white. I want it a bit more pure, if you know what I mean. The other two DVDs are a bit too "artificial" for me.

Yeah, we need a clean and simple DVD from them. Full show with no visual or audio effects added.

Totally agree, sorry if I am repeating myself but I think I already said, could we please just have some straight footage, not b&w, no special effects, no weird cut ins, just straight up, well shot footage of this great live (and gorgeous, sorry wrong thread) band :D

oakland would be a great one!

Yeah, I'd love that too. I still think it's unlikely though...

Yeh it is just so awful. Like i think Hyde Park and Oakland is the best option to get some pro footage, but the whole GD promo team is so horrible so i don't think we'll get anything at all. Like we almost never get videos, and not even pictures? Why don't they publish pictures from the gigs to their Facebook page or something? Omg....

I don't think we'll get a new concert movie. Of course i really hope too but no i just don't think so. Even not a live album. Look at The Rolling Stones - Havana Moon... Now that is a awesome concert movie! No effects, no black and white or that shit... Also loads of rehearseal footage, backstage, interview with fans etc....

I quite liked the Quatro movie, that was great! WHo does not love a movie showing how an album is created :)

i think they believe posting them on instagram and sharing them to the GD Facebook page like "Follow <insert band member IG handle here> (Instagram)" is the same equivalent as posting gig photos on facebook, which it most definitely is not. i got notifications for their FB page to get regular updates and i get a notification maybe once or twice a week. kinda sucks.

I think we got the footage we did because Warner feeling kinda bad about the whole rehab thing. Either that or it was just a huge coincidence.

I just don't understand WHY they never give permission. Look at Linkin Park. They released their new album about one month ago and we already got more footage from them than we got from Green Day since October 2016. Or System of a Down. I have the feeling that you can see almost all of their festival shows on YouTube. Does GDs promotion team think releasing footage from the concerts will stop people from buying tickets for their shows?

As I said, I think some live videos could be beneficial for the commercial performance of RevRad.
