UNICORN VOMIT Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 I know nothing about the show - but it looks like they are singing together. Reminds me of how funny Will Ferrell was.
UNICORN VOMIT Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 Nothing to do with GD but PUPPIES 3 minutes ago, whatsername said: We don't get this in NZ...come on Youtube! or GDC
Billie Joes Eyelids Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 I refuse to believe they're only playing SB. Just because that's the song mentioned on the GD tweet doesn't mean it's the only one they'll perform.
Billie Joes Eyelids Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Whelp ok looks like they're just doing Still Breathing. I don't get the strategy here. That song is on its way down on the charts. Is it possible that they're not releasing another single? This would seem like the perfect opportunity to introduce the next single. Are they hoping that SB will crack mainstream radio?
MaraGreenDay Posted March 22, 2017 Author Posted March 22, 2017 Found this stream and it's working fine for me, but idk how good it is http://www.stream2watch.cc/live-television/united-states/cbs-live-stream

Schlappy Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 The Colbert Report was so good... this is so boring. My heart

AlissaGoesRAWR Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Why am I staying up to watch this when it'll inevitably be posted online? And when DVR exists?

BrendanL Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 That was amazing! I thought Billie sounded great throughout, very controlled, and the God bit was hilarious. All the more excited to see them in April
Teenage Kicks! Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 The god thing took me back to bullet in a bible "Why are there no clouds in the sky?! Cause god wants to watch his favorite band again"
AlissaGoesRAWR Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 I don't think the impact of seeing the song live and knowing its inspiration will really translate well to a casual fan watching it on TV just listening to the music. It sounds very flat in the beginning. But at least they're trying!
MaraGreenDay Posted March 22, 2017 Author Posted March 22, 2017 Weird that he played SB with Blue. I really liked it And I loved the segments with Ryan Reynolds, that was fun

greendepent Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Still Breathing with Blue? I guess Billie Joe wasn't playing at all

Yeah, Billie seemed giddy like a little boy on Christmas because obviously Green Day being "God's favorite band" was Tre's long standing joke. It was as if BJA had no idea Colbert was gonna do that. It would be a very cool coincidence, or maybe some staffer is a big fan and has seen BIAB and suggested it
