I've never been to a Green Day show, what am I missing?

honestly, i have never been to a show where the band interacts with the audience as much as green day do - and that's probably one of the biggest reasons why they are my favourite band and i have seen them so many times.
they play for what, 3 hours? but it honestly feels like 3 minutes because you get SO caught up in the moment. even when they're playing in the biggest arenas/stadiums, you feel like you're the only one in the room (and i've seen them play at wembley stadium, and still felt like the only one there).

you need to go. don't let your preferences get in the way of it.

LOUD.  Your ears will ring for hours.  It's a wonderful feeling.  (Although I've taken to using ear plugs lately. Which doesn't change the sound, only saves my ears!)

Great! I love it when I can scream my butt off and not hear myself. Haha

I've been to large and medium-sized shows (like Irving Plaza and House of Blues)--I've not been lucky enough to go to a show smaller than 1000 people. But everyone is right--Green Day makes you live the moment to the fullest. Best live band, no question! 7 days till I go to 3 shows in 4 days. Yes, they are worth it!

I think Green Day concerts should be required for everyone, lol. I'm taking my 10yo daughter to her first shows this tour. I'm going to 5 (so far-saving for more) and she's going to 3. I'm pretty excited for her!

Go! Don't wait! Get your ticket!

Expect to be entertained, excited, and to be in awe of a band that has so much energy, and talent and showmanship.  You will leave the show loving the band more than before the show.

If you can get there at all, make the effort, spend the money, you won't regret it.  They are the best.

Oh yeah, their interaction with the audience is so amazing! I saw them live for the first time in January and that really blew me away (in addition to all the other crazily epic stuff happening at a GD show). I'm going to lots of concerts throughout the year, from small club shows to big arena shows, and I've never seen a band interact with the audience as much as GD did. Also, they add little extras like the shirt launching, water pipes, etc. that just add to the fun. I think Billie once said in an interview, that it's important to entertain the audience during a concert cause they wanna see a big show and you can see that they implemented that in their own concerts.

My first show was on January 30th and I immediately looked up their summer tour dates after that show. That's how good they are, lol.

Best stadium rock band currently touring, yes. You'll get a better love show at a small club gig, where you are part of the music
