He’s done it quite a lot over the years, sometimes for months and months at a time. Seems healthy to me

While it breaks my heart a little, I’m glad he took the time to say he was doing it.  I would say no need to worry.  I could well imagine he wants to be off SM for a while around a certain inauguration rather than rant and regret it!

Or having Trumpers dm'ing him or posting stuff on his regular/non-political posts.

And yeah, nice that he told us.  Worst one was the time he totally deleted everything one post at a time and we never got the pics back.

I don't blame him for this. I am glad he told us and that he is taking time to prioritize more important things. And I agree that this isn't the best political climate in to be on social media in.
