About damn time! One of my top favorites from the album!!!

I think it will grow on those who haven't heard it, especially the chorus, it get's imbedded and burned into your brain eventually and then you sing it to yourself over and over, it just takes about 15 listens. Was my favorite lyric video and I'm looking forward to the official one. The pre-solo bassline in the song sounds killer and then the cool little solo after, I wonder what they are going to do at this part. The lyric video was cool with the guy flying around for the solo. Either way, looking forward to it!

I don't think it's a bad choice - a song named after their album as a single is always a good idea really - and the song is catchy. Interested to see what kind of video they make out of it.

I have a bad feeling that the last two singles will be Ordinary World and Youngblood when they're my least two favourites on the album

I'm glad they're making a video for this. I hope they go full-on political with it (it would be hard not to with the lyrics).

That would really save it as a choice, hope they do that and go hard with it.

Say Goodbye would be a better political song, maybe even Troubled Times, but I understand they want the title track to be a single. Every title track has been a single, though not always justified at the cost of foregoing other songs (I still believe they should have released Church on Sunday as a single instead of Warning. Nothing against the latter, but it just doesn't have the power of Minority, Waiting and CoS as a single). I personally think Ordinary World is going to be the fourth single, with room for one more (they've never released more than five for one record). Well, it can't be more questionable as a single than LotAG anyway. I'd personally love to see Forever Now as the last one, or Outlaws or Too Dumb To Die to showcase the diversity of the record, but it's their choice.

Though I would have loved to see Say Goodbye, Troubled Times or Bouncing Off the Wall as a potential single choice, I think that RevRad is a good single choice in terms of further promoting the album and also the tour. The chorus is one that will probably stick in people's minds too, which is also good! How does everyone think it'll compare to Bang Bang and Still Breathing in terms of promotion, chart position etc?

Not as good I think. Their third single in modern times usually fares less well than the two preceding (maybe with the exception of Boulevard which achieved Good Riddance cult status in 2005). Coincidentally, the third single of 21CB was also the title track, following the pre-release Know Your Enemy and release single 21 Guns. As an aside, I guess the vintage car with the blasting radio on the roof will feature prominently in the video, given its presence in much of the promotional pictures and stuff.

According to wikipedia the 3rd single of 21CB was East Jesus Nowhere, with the title track as the fourth. I think the title track would've been the best lead single for that album

I totally agree with you! It's good for promotion, but personally, I'd love something political, angry, honest and something that resonates with people in a really strong way, like Troubled Times!

Thanks for correcting me. In any case, East Jesus wasn't able to hit the heights of KYE and 21 Guns. I agree they should have released the title track earlier as a single. It's more representative of the ingenuity of the record.

I personally prefer Say Goodbye, but they are both very poignant. I'd be interesting to see both them released as the final singles. Personally I'm betting more on Say Goodbye or (God forbid) Youngblood, since they already have lyric videos, along with Ordinary World.

My choice out of the three would be Say Goodbye. It has so much emotion, angst and personal  reflection, with a message that desperately needs to be listened to in this day and age!

Their most focused political song since Holiday and their best since East Jesus Nowhere. It resembles the former more than the latter, which I consider a good property to make it as a single.

It definitely has elements of Holiday in it, which makes it a favourite of mine!

I think if OW was released as a single, that'd be the worst possible choice for a single ever, imo. It'd be the equivalent to releasing Last Ride In as a single from Nimrod. I'm afraid it might actually happen though, but I really hope it doesn't

I don't get the dislike for Ordinary World. It's a personal favorite of mine, and I'd of guessed it to do better due to the fact it's more folk than rock/punk.

If I had to guess it would be ,because it was meant for the movie first I guess and it's a lot softer than the rest of the stuff. So over all it's because it doesn't "fit" the overall sound of the project:lol:

Personally I hope Say Goodbye isn't a single I can only imagine what the hardcore conservatives would say about the "say goodbye to the cops on patrol" I don't wanna see all the "Green Day are cop haters" posts that's come with that

I dunno, if Trump didn't have a meltdown over being roasted at the AMA's, and no one complained too much about the whole mass-shooter thing in Bang Bang,..

I guess I'd like to see that shoved in the conservatives faces. Someone needs to challenge them lately:whistle

So do you guys think we get the video before the European tour starts next Tuesday? Would be pretty cool to kick off the tour.

I don't think so. But if I look at the bright side, after the concert (only 7 days to go) I'll have something to wait for that motivates me.

Billie's words were a bit vague. Working on a video can mean preparing for photography, effective filming or post-processing. I expect a video before the end of February. If it'd be released soon, we'd have a little more info (director amongst others).
