OK so it's a known issue and being worked on, they hope to get back what they can eventually. Can't find the Maxim article anywhere else as the scans originally posted on GDC were on bloody Photobucket.

^^^ Ah there it is, the infamous “about 5’8” 145 lbs” interview 😂. There were a lot if gems in that one. “Look at those tattoos! Your dad is crazy!!” It’s also one big alcoholic cautionary tale with DUIs, drinking Robitussin and peeing in closets. This interview has it all. Thanks for finding it.

I didn't know Nyquil and vanilla extract contained alcohol.  Some kinds of mouthwash smell good enough that I feel tempted to drink them. Not gonna lie. 

One thing I will never understand is how come that cough syrup that you can get high on can be sold over the counter. I never tried it myself but a friend of mine got a bit too generous with a otc cough syrup once and it wasn't a nice trip at all. Not that I support more regulation, it just surprises me.
