Because they've already revived some of those songs on different occasions and I don't know where this song came from so I asked a question.

Rejected trilogy I believe. I don't think there's ever been any doubt of that so I assume it was seen on one of the photos of track listings in the studio or something, can anyone confirm?

It's rumored that walk away is a C&V but other than the title we have no clue if it is or not

C&V the song has references to 21CB ("red alert is the color of...", "...across the Great Divide") in its lyrics. Count me as skeptical that this song was written 13+ years ago.

In 2004/5 when they were on a TV show Mike took a selfie of the three of them. Has anyone seen the actual selfie that they took?

I assume it was then as Billie was wearing that black shirt red tie combination. Mike took the selfie, Tre was behind him smiling, and Billie was pouting like a teenage girl (some things never change). And there was a drum kit behind them. I have seen a video of them taking this selfie but I have never seen the picture that they took and I was wondering if anyone has actually seen it?

I think her point was that camera phones were really in their intimacy in 2005.  They existed but were not widely used nor did they have the functionalities they have today.  I don't think "selfies" really existed then.

yeah, I doubt 2005 phones could take photos. It could rather be from the 21CB era in my opinion.

Selfies has always been around anytime you take a picture of yourself it's a selfie I used to take em with a poloroid camera back in the 80's

I thought it was 2005 but I may be totally wrong. I think I'll have to find a video of them taking that photograph/selfie thing that they took, and post a link to the video.

Ok, when I tried to find a video of them taking their picture I managed to find a picture of them taking their photo. If you search for 'green day selfie Mike 2005' in Google it should come up (sorry I can't seem to get it to post here)

Yes, but you are exceptional as far as taking pictures of yourself.  The term "selfies" really came about with the advent of social media, where people started to take pictures of themselves to post.  The first big social media site was MySpace, and I did have to look this up, but Myspaces biggest popularity was in 2006.  The person that asked the question said the video was 2005, that would have been before the popularity of 'selfies" really began.  So, I would think either Billie and Mike were way ahead of their time, as Jane said, or the person that asked the question got the date slightly wrong.
