Billie Joe to be on Conan

I was very distracted by the floof factor of his hair the entire time.  The lighting just made it seem downright synthetic.

Some of us (myself included) just have dark circles at all times. That's just his face, mate. 

He has been doing beautiful renditions of this in concert, but it's lovely to hear him sing it when he hasn't just been singing and running around on stage for 2 hours. It really sounded perfect. That high note.  

Also, it cracks me up that he was wearing his sunglasses on his shirt during the performance. It's like he just turned up off the street and decided to play, lol.

I believe Conan is filmed in Burbank.

The younger generation doesn't hate that word like the boomers and even Gen X. Milinials and Gen Y dont, correctly equate socialism to communism. Two literally opposite ideologies that used to be used synonymously. You can even have capatalism and socialism hybrid.

For example public schools, roads, and all things the government pays for, for us, IS socialism. We are pooling money together via taxes to have national roads and schools and we were the only developed western nation without a net for its citizens medically which is about to be repealed and hopefully replaced with something better.

This is important my young friends that don't like Trump. During the 2018 MIDTERM elections we need to add senate and house seats to get a "super majority" that will protect us from all that Trump is doing before our very eyes. You are watching the behinnfing of a fascist, Tyra Jc order and my hopes of some normalcy with an edge ended on like day 5 and keeps getting worse.

There are WAY more progressives than conservatives. Why would someone want to conserve rather than progress anyway?  We as a species need to push the inertia to the impossible hope of a one world that cares about itself and not about its own little spots of interest because it WILL NOT be long before another world war will break out and what's happening in Aleppo, Russia, UK (brexit), America and everywhere I travel and I have been traveling for decades and never has there been a more palpable feeling of badness just in general.'

Thr world is a powder keg. We DO NOT need fire guys. Love everyone, including Trump supporters as hard as it may be. They don't think the same is all and hey, maybe we all be lucky and they will be right. I doubt it but I have never wanted to be wrong more in my life. I will happily eat crow if Trump is the best president ever. He won't be.

I didn't read you're whole article because I have a short attention span, however, I'm sorry that you are a socialist.  The next democrat (the closest thing that a socialist would like to have in office) that is up and coming is non existent.  Dangle a light bulb over your head and realize we are going to be a Republican country for some time now.  Also, I know that my new word that I invented, Trumpism, has a connotation with fascism.  Also, after watching Billie perform on Conan again and again... he did a great job.  Also, I think Billie should live it up though.  Have a beer or two.  You all should agree with me that Billie was a lot more fun while drinking and pilling.  Just go on youtube and watch prior concerts.  Billie did get out of control with the pills, the benzos, which he still takes btw but doesn't mix them with booze.  I'll text him and let him know that he's a tad bit boring now.  Tre and Mike are awesome - they drink beer.  Viva la Billie!!  Peace and love.

I assumed he filmed it last week when they were also on the Warner lot for Ellen, but I could be wrong. You didn't see Conan interact with Billie because Conan would not have been wearing the same tie he did for the rest of the show if it wasn't filmed the same day.

I was surprised that, given it was just Billie and he was doing Ordinary World, they didn't have Conan announce it as the movie's song, but a Green Day performance sans Green Day! 

And of course, he sounded lovely

That is very true. Like I said, I have no proof other than the typical production TV shows use when they combine segments (and that isn't a definite reason for why they made the segments like they did) and that Billie didn't mention on Instagram that he was going back down to the exact same studio he was at last week (again, not definitive either), it just seemed that way!

What a nice performance. I would have killed to hear an acoustic version of Still Breathing though, would have been my early Christmas gift, but this was awesome, too.
