Saw it but what does it have to do with Green Day or Billie Joe? Just curious.

Outside Lands 2014 has rumor of Green Day likely to appear

Outside Lands 2014: Lineup locks, likely acts & long shots

Likely To Appear

Green Day – These Bay Area legends have surprisingly never played Outside Lands, and it seems possible we’ll see them grace the main stage for a night with Billy Joe and company.

Sort of random, but also very neat:

Tonight I had the privilege to meet Marky Ramone, drummer of the Ramones, who spoke at my school tonight. After the show, I met him privately and he signed my belt and took pictures. During his presentation, though, he spoke a bit about Green Day. These are the random remarks he made:

- All three of them are extremely nice guys, and he has hungout with them on many occasions

- When the Ramones were inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame, they didn't want to perform due to the recent death of Joey Ramone. Green Day volunteered to play Ramones songs, and apparently they rehearsed a lot and took it very seriously. Marky says that what Green Day did for his band was special and something he will never forget.

- When asked about new music he listens to, he mentioned Foreverly, saying that it brings him great joy when artists test themselves and try new things.

- He also said that Dookie is an excellent album, and that overall Green Day are very talented musicians.

Take THAT, John Lydon!:lol: That's awesome, man.

To be fair, Marky Ramone seems to be someone who loves music in any form. He kept saying never to knock down other people's music (but he did say Top 40 is shit lol). Johnny Rotten is a pompous asshole who made one album and thinks he's the dictator of music. Plus everything Rotten says is out of jealousy anyway.

One of these days I really want to troll a Sex Pistols fansite just so I can see his fans attempt to explain how doing a butter commercial is still punk rawk. :P

Why even mention the butter commercial? After being on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here he has zero credibility in any form. That show can best be described as AIDS (no offense to anyone actually suffering with AIDS).

Unless they know something, I feel as if they're mentioning Green Day because they're from the Bay Area and because they currently do not have any plans for the rest of the year, so they are not already booked up

So it's a 3 day music festival that stays in the same place? I wonder if its different acts each day or the same each day, lol not that it really matters, just curious.

Different acts. Here it's normal for festivals to be one location and 3 days. This festival is usually a bunch of current acts

On mobile so it's a bitch to use a translator, did they do it or is the article about them not doing it?

It's about how Walmart wanted a censored version of the album but Green Day refused and never did it.
